Depression is a chance to get to know oneself, to look inside oneself and understand something important about oneself.

Often, depression is called the state of blues, bad mood, which after a couple of days already disappear. Real depression can last from several weeks to many years and a person often arrives in a depressed, joyless state, nothing pleases or interests, accompanied by fear, anxiety, panic attacks, sleep disturbances …

Quite a lot has been said and written about these and other signs and reasons.

In this post, I propose to look at depression from a different angle, as an opportunity to accept in yourself what is forbidden and learn to be honest with yourself.

After all, life is not possible without ups and downs, and it is simply impossible to satisfy all human needs in the best possible way every second. But it is possible to change your attitude towards yourself and life, your perception of the world.

We are endowed with a very wise organism and in a state of depression, despondency, in a state of depression, it gives us a sign that we need to stop rushing about, achieve and expect something, stop playing and pay attention to the present ourselves.

Depression allows you to draw attention to yourself and ask important questions that you previously did not dare to ask yourself:

What is really important to me in this life?

Whose values do I live by?

What are my real values?

Am I living my life?

Whose scenario am I living in?

Am I trying to be good to others and do I want to win their recognition with more attention from them?

Having received recognition, does it mean for me that I am good, that I am loved and accepted?

Whose recognition am I really trying to get?

Who gave me praise for something, for a good performance of something, for good behavior and obedience?..

What is important to me?

How do I really want to live?..

These and other questions help to touch your true desires, to your inner Self, learn to be in contact with yourself and live according to your feelings.

Such states motivate you to turn to a specialist who, as a guide, holding your hand, accompanies you to different corners of your soul and helps you get to know yourself. Remember that you are not alone in this world!
