Depression is often seen as a contrived problem that arises in anxious, exalted natures. Many people say to themselves that they are depressed if they feel tired from the routine or are sad from the chilly autumn weather.
In fact, depression is a serious mental illness in which the central nervous system is disrupted. If untreated and not taken seriously, the disease can lead to disastrous results.
How does depression manifest?
Depression has nothing to do with the usual blues, bad moods and fatigue from everyday life and work. It is a mental disorder characterized by a range of symptoms that, if not properly treated, can lead to very adverse consequences.
According to statistics, mortality from depression in the world is almost catching up with mortality from cardiovascular diseases. The main signs of this condition include:
decreased motor activity, lethargy; persistent decrease in mood; disturbances in thinking; loss of interest in work, favorite activities, in life in general; decreased self-esteem; negative attitude towards oneself and others. If such signs are observed for two weeks or longer, it is worth hitting anxiety.
The consequences of depression
Depressive disorders negatively affect both the physical and mental health and the social life of the patient.
Not started treatment on time leads to the fact that depression becomes chronic. Such a patient not only suffers from physical ailments, but also destroys social ties, breaks off relations with friends, colleagues, loses his job, begins to inadequately assess reality.
Social implications
It is difficult for a person who has plunged into the abyss of depression to understand and evaluate the clinical symptoms of the disease. In this case, the attentive attitude of close people is necessary. A depressed patient may present with the following symptoms:
problems in communicating with loved ones, acquaintances, colleagues (they are caused by a constant desire to retire, irritability, depression, indifference); helplessness in everyday life - inability to solve ordinary tasks that did not cause any difficulties before; the predominance of negative emotions; the appearance of unreasonable fears (phobias) - fear of getting sick, fear of open space, etc.; decreased sex drive; loss of meaning in life, unwillingness to live - this often leads to suicide.
Health implications
With prolonged depression in a person, not only does the quality of life deteriorate, and social connections are lost, but also physical well-being suffers.
With a mild form of depression, the following are observed:
insomnia; headaches; decreased pain threshold; hair loss, deterioration of the condition of teeth, nails, skin. In more serious and prolonged forms of depression, the patient may develop the following diseases:
cardiovascular; diabetes mellitus; gastrointestinal diseases; lupus erythematosus; osteoporosis; rheumatism, etc. Chronic depression can lead to inflammation of the brain when cells begin to die. Until they came to a consensus, is it possible to somehow return them to their original state.
For a person suffering from depression, the danger also lies in the fact that he is almost unaware of his deteriorating well-being.
Only a correct diagnosis and timely treatment can save a person.
To do this, you need to be attentive to your loved ones in order to notice changes in mood and health.
Take care of yourself and ask for help!

Love Is Not Pain, Or Why We Are Sick From Love. And How To Be Treated
Parents living with pain in their souls will only pass on pain to their child. But children will perceive it as love. And from that moment on, pain and love will be identical in them. Adult men and women of such parents will choose partners who can hurt them, because otherwise they will not feel love.
