Let's talk about beliefs. We are often too busy, we have something to do and move forward, not reacting to the events and situations that are happening around. I would like to tell you about the need to have a clear understanding of your core values and beliefs.

Our inner beliefs influence our daily decisions, even if we don't think about them. For example, if I believe that in order to move forward I need to work hard, then I begin to do it without even thinking about it. This belief in hard work can overturn any concern about having a balanced life outside of work.

Where do our beliefs come from? Our beliefs are based on experiences and information we have received from different people and situations. They can be built on our past experience and are not relevant in the present.

Could you recall some of the habits that you have had since childhood that are no longer useful for you? How do you define your current belief system? My favorite method is to keep a Journal of My Habits. When you keep a journal, you write down everything that works and what does not, and you start to get some ideas on how to make a positive change.

Keeping a journal is a proven way to help you raise your awareness of how beliefs affect your actions on a regular basis. You need to reconsider and sort out your beliefs in order to open your mind to different points of view. Curiosity, so to speak. Understand that there are different opinions on a particular topic. After all, everything has a right to exist, and only because through the prism of our convictions we do not accept it, prevents us from moving to a new level of development. Collect all the knowledge you can collect and only then make a decision based on your own findings. Ask yourself, how do your beliefs help you? And where do they hinder or create a barrier for you? Once you have a set of basic beliefs, it will be easier for you to make a decision. If you find it difficult to make a decision, research what really bothers you.

I encourage you to create your own list of beliefs to reflect on how they govern your actions. Save the beliefs that help you and discard those that just come your way.
