Many works of domestic and foreign researchers are devoted to the study of relations with parents of children under 18 years of age. In Russian psychology, research in this area was carried out by the scientists L. S. Vygotsky, O. A. Karabanova, V. M. Tseluiko, D. B. Elkonin and many others. However, unfortunately, not enough attention has been paid to the study of relations with parents in childhood, which form the basis for the formation of an adult's personality and the characteristics of interpersonal relationships among adults.

The purpose This work is the study of interpersonal relations of students in connection with the relationship with parents in childhood.

The research tasks included:

1.the study of relationships with parents in childhood, 2. study of interpersonal relations of students, 3. study of the relationship of relationships with parents in childhood and interpersonal relationships of students.

The following techniques were used:

1. “Childhood. Events, Parent-Child Relations and Subjective Experiences”by MV Galimzyanova;

2. test questionnaire of reflected parental attitude ("OORO") A. Ya. Varga and V. V. Stolin, modified by E. V. Romanova and M. V. Galimzyanova;

3. Methodology "Child - parental relations of adults" (modified methodology "Child - parental relations of adolescents" by PV Troyanovskaya, ("DROP");

To study the interpersonal relationships of students, the following were used:

  1. method of diagnostics of interpersonal relations ("OMO") V. Schutz
  2. method of interpersonal diagnostics of interpersonal relations ("DMO") T. Leary. adapted by L. N. Sobchik

The study involved 40 people - 20 women and 20 men, aged 18 to 21.

An analysis of the characteristics of relations with parents in childhood revealed that, in general, respondents note a high level of acceptance by their parents in childhood and cooperation with them. At the same time, respondents perceived their mother as more cooperative and authoritarian, and considered their father less cooperative and authoritarian. In addition, respondents believe that in childhood they experienced more emotional rejection from their mother than from their father. Women are more likely than men to believe that their parents collaborated with them.

Men note that the father accepted them somewhat more than the mother, and women believed that the father cooperated with them more than the mother.

The analysis of interpersonal relations showed that, in general, respondents tend to expect from others inclusiveness, openness, and the manifestation of control in the process of communication, than to show these qualities on their own. It was found that women in general tend to be more active and open than men in the process of interpersonal interaction, while they are less than men expect and show control in relation to themselves and other people.

Correlation analysis of indicators of the general sample, as well as in groups of men and women, showed that such parameters as acceptance on the part of the mother, cooperation with the mother, symbiosis with the father can contribute to the manifestation of the desire to contact with other people (pd0, 05).

In a group of women, it was found that the mother's attitude as a loser and her authoritarianism (pd-0, 05) can hinder the development of the desire to contact other people, as well as create close, trusting relationships. It was also found that the more accepting women of both parents perceived (pd0, 01), the more they, as adults, tend to create close, trusting relationships with others. At the same time, the more accepting women perceived their father (pd0, 05), the more they, as adults, expect openness and emotional closeness from other people.

Thus, it was found that interpersonal relationships of students are associated with relationships with parents in childhood. So inclusiveness, openness in communication, the desire of students to create trusting relationships with others is associated with acceptance, cooperation and symbiosis on the part of parents in childhood. However, parameters such as the mother’s attitude as a loser and the mother’s authoritarianism may discourage respondents from interacting with other people.
