One thing I know for sure - this state does not appear just like that. Therefore, it is so persistent and requires a special attitude, which does not tolerate haste and fuss. At such moments, recommendations like "Forget it!", "You need to cheer up, get distracted", "Stop being sad, everything is fine,"
Yes, you can ignore it and start invigorating yourself in different ways in the swagger of everyday life, from which gradually, your strength will begin to slowly but surely dry out.

Sadness is more intimate, and more often has a "negative" emotional charge, and also requires a greater level of trust and security, which is associated with greater openness and vulnerability, because we share with a person not what we have, but we yearn for which we do not have.
Let it not sound arrogant, but not everyone has the skill of being in such a state, and even more empathy for a similar state of a neighbor.
Be sad … This is normal, and even important. You will be surprised, but you can even draw strength from it!
But you should not turn this into a style in life and stretch this feeling into incessant despondency (it is legitimate to say that this is already another, extreme pole).
