What can be said about the person who took the position. It does not matter at all on what question, he occupied her; for what reasons he chose this position.
The question is clear and specific. If you intend to investigate it, please do not mix concepts such as good and evil, truth is a lie, I believe or don’t believe. We are talking about the consequences for which a person "who has taken a position" should be prepared.
Let's take, for a start, the definition of position. The definition itself is optional. Better, then check it yourself. So, position is a point of view, a principle underlying the behavior, actions of someone.
Point of view. Principle. HM. And on what basis did it suddenly appear in my mind, and even control my actions and behavior? Actual question?
Apparently, I created a point of view "with my own hands", based on personal experience. Or, another option is based on what was said, read, heard. And then accepted by me as my own: belief, opinion, look.
Above - this is about how the idea is formed, about anything, in the mind of a person. Now about the idea. This is the image. An image created by the efforts of my imagination. An image that mediates between the real state of affairs and the picture that my thought created about this thing or phenomenon.
Does the image correspond to the real one of whose reflection it is? Obviously not. Yes, it can be reasonably visual, sensual, informative, but it is not the thing itself.
Why is it so important? This is significant for at least one reason. My idea, whatever it may be, cannot be true because of my own limitations. Due to the fragmentation of my knowledge (personal or taken for my own). And knowledge, in turn, is always conditioned by experience. But the experience is also limited.
The fragmented presentation of something is doomed to create a conflict, a confrontation between what is and how I "see" it. And more than that, which is no less important, my idea will never, in its entirety, correspond to the idea of another. After all, the other has different experience and knowledge.
This creates a double conflict, between my ideas and the real world, on the one hand, and the representation of the other, on the other. This conflict does not subside in my mind for a second. But that's not what the article is about.
The person who took the position. He got up. Costs. His presentation is devoid of dynamics. But he doesn't just stand. He's in conflict. Double. And therefore, "having taken a position", is doomed, from this moment, to strengthen, defend, defend and in every possible way hold on to what he has accepted. He, on his own, deprived himself of the opportunity to see and take into account a different opinion, other aspects of reality, new patterns.
He has no time. He's in conflict. He took position ©

It all starts corny. A man - a woman or a man - lives a completely ordinary life for himself, well, there, study / work / children or something else, earthly, everyday. And in general, everything seems to be nothing, but only there is no strength.

I am writing this article as a continuation of the topic of shame, and I want to consider the psychological defenses that we use to avoid feeling and recognizing shame. The fact is that toxic shame is a rather difficult and unpleasant experience, which rather weakens us rather than strengthens us.
