It took me a year to lose 40 kg and consolidate a comfortable weight after seven years of unsuccessful attempts to put myself on a diet and drag myself to the fitness room. For about two years now I have been enjoying a beautiful, toned body without "volitional violence."

After analyzing my experience of weight loss, which now seems to me to be simple and natural, I came to the conclusion that:

Losing weight is an individual process

No matter how scientists would like to discover a “universal method of losing weight without SMS and registration”, from my own experience and the experience of my friends, I am convinced that there is no universal method at the moment. Losing weight is a systemic process based on the physical and mental state of the body of each individual person, the perception of oneself and the world around, the food consumed, the availability of certain foods, family, lifestyle … And so on, on, on.

Most losing weight make the same mistake: taking a newfangled recommended diet and starting a draconian effort to cram it into their unique lifestyle. And all because we do not know how to listen to our own body!

At times, trial and error is often more powerful than any ultra-hyped approach. Remember: losing weight should bring you joy! Only then will you create healthy breeding grounds for healthy habits. Only in this case, a beautiful, healthy body will stay with you forever!

2. You don't have to pay a lot of money for losing weight

Gyms for 100 thousand rubles are no better than a yoga mat and a cardio zone on the first floor of your house, if you have a motivation engine!

Many times I gave up trying to lose weight, because the initial motivation to walk the additional 500 meters to the gym was wearing out, and the money spent only exacerbated the feeling of "I'm not good for anything." The main thing is your aspiration, not how much you pay for it. Losing weight will not be a guru, not an eminent nutritionist, not a head of a sports club with a gold member card, but you. It is your responsibility - admit it!

3. Losing weight - in detail

Losing weight “comes” when you are not lazy to look for healthy alternatives to your favorite foods. When you are not ashamed of grumpy grandmothers at the bus stop, dissatisfied with the sight of your buttocks in leggings with a galaxy sweeping by. When you're ready to walk three stops to your favorite eco-food store; go down from the second floor not by elevator, but by stairs; take a walk in the park, not sit in the cinema!

4. The approach needs to be changed

If your goal is a perfect body, process vision bias will probably help. Look for the kind of physical activity that makes you enjoyable. Something that you are willing to do for the sake of the process itself! This approach will affect motivation: very soon you will notice that an active life position makes you much happier than a passive one. A healthy body has an inherent flow of free, fluid energy. Healthy bodies are active and energetic! The closer you get to a comfortable weight, the more energy will flow through you!

Find your favorite sport - not by “prescription”, but because you love it! Tumble, play, catch up with your loved ones and pull their braids and jackets. Play and rejoice while enjoying the process. And losing weight will happen to you!

5. A wonderful body will come as a "side effect" of a healthy lifestyle

The more a person is fixated on a certain "perfection", the harder progress is given. The more failures will hit our psyche, the more painful small stagnations will be given.

An active life position brings a beautiful body a priori. A click in the head brings changes outside. Therefore, I never tire of focusing on the fact that any change comes from within. First a thought - then a word. First thought - then action. Try to think like a thin person. What would you choose while in your new, beautiful body? Make decisions from this position. In a healthy body - a healthy mind, and the owner of a healthy mind - undoubtedly - a healthy body!

When I was a fat-cheeked plump and worked my way up to exhaustion on the simulators, I could not understand what slender, fit girls were doing on the treadmill. Where else would they go? Years later, having overcome the path from donut to slender, I finally realized that slender people cannot do otherwise. These skinny "witches" friends who eat and don't get fat are actually huge fidgets. They need to put energy somewhere. And all these walks with the dog, and standing in transport, and dancing in front of the mirror of the wardrobe, and the joy of running up the stairs are the best things in the world. Things you don't need to suffer for.
