Everywhere we are literally shouting about productivity, time management, planning. Sometimes this is done so intrusively that we begin to blame ourselves for wanting to be lazy, but is it really that bad?
So, if suddenly you feel that you are covered with laziness, ask questions:
- Is what I need to do really valuable and important to me?
- When was the last time I had a good rest?
- Do I know how to delegate? Perhaps my laziness is screaming at me to share responsibility?
- What can laziness protect or protect me from?
- Do I have enough self-love and respect to strive for the best and be active?
- What resources do I lack to complete what I started?
- Can guilt, shame, fear, self-punishment hide behind laziness?
- Does the desire to be perfect and not make mistakes slow me down?
- Do I repeat the model of someone close, lying on the couch?
- Do I tend to suppress feelings? If yes, then apathy and laziness will be my companions!
There is a useful practice for any condition that has captured us (apathy, laziness, melancholy, etc.): do not run away from it, lie down on the floor, stretch your arms out to the sides and say: “Well, hello, laziness! Take me, I'm yours! Conquer me, and during this time I will understand why you came to me. Lie down for an hour, amazing realizations will happen.
