Each of us is made up of habits. We are accustomed to certain actions that we perform every day. We get out of bed, brush our teeth, wash our face, have breakfast, etc. Our life consists of such habitual actions. As soon as we acquire a new habit, something in our usual way of life changes. And so we go our way of life.

There are habits that make us successful, and there are habits that make our journey difficult. And we develop these habits ourselves, no one imposes them on us, neither society, nor close people, nor even more so our Creator. We ourselves choose which habits we live with. If we have bad habits, we have chosen them, and so it is with good habits.

I would like to take a closer look at specific habits that spoil our lives. The very first and most pernicious habit is laziness. It is she who is the source of all the failures in the life of 95% of people. If a person thinks that after completing his working day, he can afford to come home, lie on the sofa and just watch TV and at the same time think that he has done everything in order to achieve success, then this is not so. And his lifestyle is a confirmation of this. In the life of such a person, we see more failures than successes. Because he is a lazy person. In order to be successful, you need to be a workaholic. In successful workaholics, there is no such thing as a rationed work day, planned weekends, vacations, holidays. Such people work very hard, especially at the beginning of their successful journey. This is the sacrifice they make for success.

People who are not focused on success choose a job where they do not need to think a lot, to show their creative abilities. This work, as a rule, consists of the same operations every day, that is, as we call it “routine work”. And as a result, people just come, work off their fixed salary, thinking at the workplace, as if the end of the working day would come as soon as possible, and in the middle of the week, as soon as possible it would be the weekend. And so the habit of working in this job is acquired. I am sure that in those moments when everything gets boring, they think about how to somehow change the situation. But over the years, this habit is so ingrained in them that they are simply afraid of any changes, justifying their laziness with the big risks of losing even the crumbs that they have. Better already let everything remain as it is. And this circle lasts all their life.

A workaholic at work always gives all his best. They are constantly busy with work, they do not have time for tea, talking with colleagues and all kinds of changes. And as a result, they move up the career ladder very quickly. After a working day, successful people do not sit in front of television, they read books, watch trainings, attend seminars, are constantly engaged in self-development, self-knowledge. They are always interested in something, they are constantly asking questions and looking for answers.

But this is not all the work that a person must do to achieve success. To change your life, you need to learn to control your thoughts. Only thoughts of success will lead to success. Despite the fact that controlling your thoughts is the hardest job, especially when you are surrounded by poverty and misery, and you have to think about success, I would even say, engage in self-deception. But actually it is not. Our mental image today will determine our life in the future. What you think about the most is what you are. Again, we need to work to make thoughts of success a habit. Think not about what surrounds YOU, but about what YOU really want to achieve.
