All the classics, philosophers-humanists, argued that human nature lies in the constant search for happiness. But there is Gautama's law (Buddhism, the oldest of the world's religions, describes it). Opened twenty-five centuries ago, when there were no classical humanists in the project. It reads: "Any movement of the mind, engaged in the search for happiness, is suffering or becomes the cause of it." Therefore, it is necessary to learn to be aware of the distance between the "mind" and what you think you are.

First, realize that the contents of the mind are not your choice

What is in your mind now is just what others have laid in you. And you can change that. You are not required to practice these programs. You can rewrite them when you realize that the mind is your instrument and you are the user of that instrument.

You can stop depending on the mind only by questioning what is happening and exploring the geometry of your mind.

What to do specifically?

For example, let's say you find yourself in a situation that you don't like. Don't rush into a backlash rut. Stop. And think: why react in a way that can harm you? Think about what is happening in general and is it worth getting excited, angry and revenge on someone?

Instead, try to catch the distance between yourself and your reaction to what happened. Conscious distance will help you do the right thing. By doing things consciously, you will stop feeling pain and regret about something you missed.

By separating yourself from the mind, you will no longer be led by your previously established programs.

And as soon as you turn away from the instructions imposed by other people and circumstances, you can easily discern the essence of what is happening to you. You will realize that there are no enemies, there is no evil or good. There is a reality of possibilities, and among these possibilities one can move freely without crippling oneself and others.

You can easily find a place for yourself to your taste and dignity, without breaking the skull of others

The world is not as limited as you might think, only your momentary idea of this world is limited.

Conclusion

From childhood we were taught everything, basically what did not work for our "teachers".

The complexity of life lies in the fact that we are stuck in other people's achievements, our momentary mind is overflowing.

The mind turns you into one, then into another - a person. You believe him meekly. Moving away from your mind, you will see many effective solutions previously unavailable.

Thank you for your attention!
