Association with the outbreak of World War II, when one day everything changed. But then at least it was clear who the enemy was. And today the inhabitants of the Earth are faced with a deadly adversary, which is impossible to see and understand. Because the coronavirus is invisible and permeable, it materializes, invading living cells to create an environment incompatible with human life.

Through his efforts, people felt the fragility, vulnerability and even helplessness of a human being. And the old picture of reality turned upside down - now it is not we who create conditions incompatible with the life of the whole planet, it felt much better with the introduction of quarantine.

What is this, a conspiracy against humanity, which imagines itself to be omnipotent?

Signs? Someone's cruel experiment?

This will become known later. And now, first of all, we need to survive the coronavirus catastrophe. And for this, it is important for each person to maintain strong immunity - in the broadest sense of this term. Because the duration of self-isolation and quarantine is still impossible to predict.

Uncertainty is the definition of the present moment

Uncertainty is one of the most viscous states, filled with a sense of fear and background anxiety, a space of chaos of bipolar feelings. This is an emotional swing - on the one hand, the pole of indifference and denial, on the other, anxiety and panic fear.

  • How to deal with this?
  • How long can you be in such instability?
  • How not to fall on one of the poles, find a balance between them?

Alas, I do not have a universal recipe for existence in coronavirus uncertainty. And here's why: there is no one among those living today who has experience of living in a pandemic. But there is the experience of ancestors - the history of epidemics of past centuries and their consequences. Reading the chronicle, you realize the horror of those events, their traumatic effect on the psyche. And now the coronavirus has injured us - we are all at its epicenter, spinning in a whirlpool of alarming news and hourly changing events.

Is it possible to keep the balance on the wave in a 10-point storm?

Not if the mind is focused on one single goal - to stay alive. But there is a way not to go to the bottom - to concentrate all your will on the balance. Then the wave will certainly carry you to the shore. So in a pandemic, you need to balance in order to survive. And later, after the storm, already on the shore to experience what happened to us.

Of course, we are all very different, each has its own reserve of strength, patience and mental capabilities. The brain records any information, but is a person always able to comprehend and accept a situation if he has weak mental functions?

  1. Support is primarily provided by conscious contact not only with your own feelings, but also with the body. Yes, it is with the body. After all, dissociation, depersonalization and disorientation are the mental states of traumatic experience. Contact with the body helps to ground, to gain a sense of strength and inner support.
  2. The second is the ability and ability to share your emotions and experiences, to discuss them with other people. Can't meet in a cafe and on walks? It's okay, the telephone and the Internet have not yet been canceled.
  3. And finally, third: find at least one source of pleasure in life. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t mean that you don’t have it. This means that you have not paid attention to yourself for a long time. And right now you have it.
