A person finds himself in crisis situations at those moments in his life when he needs to change. In my opinion, a crisis is a kind of filter through which a person needs to pass. And this is possible only by changing internally. After all, if we consider the crisis as a kind of lesson, then it is possible to get out of it only by assimilating new knowledge. Those who cannot recognize this fact, over time, also begin to move, but not upward along the line of their development, but downward, degrade in all spheres of life.
The meaning of the crisis is for a person to be able to discover the entrance to the zone of proximal development. Their development, in order to make their life better and better. At the same time, it is very important when a person is in a crisis situation, but has already stopped, as they say, “falling down” (returning to the past in thoughts, applying old patterns of behavior) to cope with fear.
A person is usually frightened by the fact that now he will have to develop and learn new values, meanings and models of interaction with the world. At the same time, it is necessary to clearly understand that, by and large, this is the meaning of passing through a crisis state. And the fear that arises from this is a sine qua non, since most reactions and beliefs also change.
After all, the new and the unknown always scares us, since we do not know how and what to do, we do not have a pattern of thoughts and actions. This is one of the reasons for the appearance of fear. Moreover, this fear is often replaced by anxiety, and possibly even panic attacks. But anxiety and panic are just blackmail feelings that have nothing to do with fear and its perception.
When we grow out of the reactions of the reptilian brain, which "advises" in the event of fear to either run, or fight, or hide, then fear takes on a different meaning. In fact, fear is a signal that encourages a person to mobilize their attention. It is like a road sign that traffic without stopping is prohibited "STOP". The function of this sign is to attract the maximum attention of a person. Fear is the same story.
If a person learns to use his own fear to his advantage, he begins to gain power. That is, the state when he realizes that he can really change his life. At the same time, fully realizing and taking responsibility for the consequences that may arise.
And this, in turn, has a very beneficial effect on the emotional state of a person by stabilizing him. At the same time, attention switches from thoughts about the past to the present, to the opportunities that this present provides.
Live with joy! Anton Chernykh.

When a person goes through a crisis situation, significant changes take place inside him. As a rule, this is due to the fact that a person's map of reality is expanding. In addition, with qualitative changes, the inner image of the person himself changes quite dramatically.
The Crisis. How To Get Out? Part 3

The Crisis. How To Get Out? Part 2
Our thinking is arranged in such a way that in crisis situations, a person's attention is directed to the past. At the same time, such memories in a crisis are not at all resource for a person, rather the opposite. If we represent this process in the form of a metaphor, then we get a big beam of a searchlight, which is directed into the past, while it does not illuminate either the present or the future.
