When a person finds himself in an unpleasant situation, then, first of all, his internal state changes. And after that, the perception of the surrounding reality. At the same time, we are more inclined to see more negativity, at such moments a person finds himself in a state of crisis. In fact, a crisis is when the old no longer works, and the new does not yet exist.

Under such conditions, people most often begin to lower themselves lower and lower on the scale of their emotional state. This naturally affects all areas of life. In this state, a person begins to experience a strong sense of guilt. Indeed, in his opinion, his own mistake or miscalculation led to this state of affairs.

Such accusations often escalate into self-flagellation. Ever since childhood, we have a harmful belief that a mistake is a crime, and a crime is followed by punishment. Having substantiated their attitude towards themselves, people begin to punish themselves.

But that's not all, along with a sense of guilt at such moments, a person develops fear. After all, if past patterns of behavior do not work. Then he does not know how to behave. And in order to create new ones, there is often not enough energy, since all of it is spent on blaming and punishing oneself.

The situation in which a person finds himself begins to seem hopeless to him, which naturally increases fear. Plus, the imagination begins to give out a variant, and the worst, of the development of events. Sometimes people get to the point that they think they have no reason to live at all. This is a kind of refusal to search for new models of behavior, based on the fact that a person simply does not have these powers.

Many in such situations can switch to automatic existence mode. That is, go to work on the machine, communicate with others. They do all this by inertia, while they often begin to ascribe a negative connotation to the events taking place with them. Even if in reality nothing bad happens. A person programs himself that nothing but failures awaits him anymore.

Such states are dangerous because a person immerses himself in negativity more and more. He himself begins to believe that this is not a difficult situation (unsuccessful, incomprehensible), but that he, as a person, is bad. And when a person believes that he is bad, then most often there are thoughts that he is not worthy of good at all (greetings from childhood).

First of all, in such a situation, it is necessary to stop such a downward movement. Because the deeper a person lowers himself on the emotional scale, the worse his condition is. This can be difficult to do. But, nevertheless, at first it is worth paying more attention to the fact that, by and large, nothing has changed in the world. The planet has not left orbit. And the order of things has not changed. Then, it is already more difficult to try to find positive moments in the events taking place. For this purpose, you can start keeping a diary, in which you write down three to five events each day that can be called good or neutral.

It can be very difficult to start and continue such recordings, but here you have to strain. The fact is that when we switch our attention from negative thoughts to something else, then, accordingly, we blame ourselves less. Such a diary becomes this other. Thus, if we do not stop, then we significantly slow down the downward movement. After all, a person is forced to notice the good in order to write it down.

Of course, this will not be able to completely solve the problem of a person's crisis, however, it is necessary to start with something. It is certainly more useful to work on such tasks with a specialist.

It is very important to understand that a person often cannot find a way out, because he is not busy with a search, but with completely different things (accusations, scarecrows), but at the same time there is a way out of almost any situation. Especially if the reason is not external, but internal. In other words, it is in the person's head, and not in the outside world.
