When a person goes through a crisis situation, significant changes take place inside him. As a rule, this is due to the fact that a person's map of reality is expanding. In addition, with qualitative changes, the inner image of the person himself changes quite dramatically. That is, how a person sees and perceives himself.
Of course, such changes also affect those behavioral models that a person begins to use when communicating with others. However, it is worth noting that it is the person's immediate environment that may be dissatisfied with such changes. Firstly, because now a person reacts differently, and this is very unusual and can even frighten. And secondly, because the old image was often more convenient.
The moment of acceptance by others is very important for any person. It so happens that after his own changes, a person encounters resistance from his environment. At such moments, it is extremely important not to allow yourself to return to the old system of reactions. After all, this is exactly what, albeit not directly, those close to him will want from him.
Moreover, the past variants of reactions are very fresh in the memory. Plus, a person wants acceptance. In such conditions, it is important to understand that any person has the right to be as he wants. And here it is very useful to yourself allow all new reactions and patterns of behavior. After all, if you think about it, then, in many ways, those past models brought a person into crisis. And, if he does not want to plunge into negativity again, then he should carefully consider his changes.
As for relationships with loved ones, here it is worth understanding that in such a situation, it is more useful for a person to build new relationships with someone than to return to old ones. Moreover, over time, the immediate environment will simply be forced to accept the changes of a person.
Nevertheless, when the risk is high that you may return to the previous system of reactions, the following technique, described by Martin Seligman, can be recommended. In those moments when you are close to using past (irrelevant) reactions or behavior patterns, click yourself with an ordinary elastic band on the wrist (the elastic is simple stationery, it can be worn on the wrist). Thus, you remind yourself that you have changed and you should not return yourself to the past, because it hurts there.
For a successful way out of a crisis situation, one must understand that now a person can afford new models of behavior and methods of communication, since he himself has become new. This understanding is an important condition for later life. A life that will bring a person more pleasure.

The Crisis. How To Get Out? Part 4
A person finds himself in crisis situations at those moments in his life when he needs to change. In my opinion, a crisis is a kind of filter through which a person needs to pass. And this is possible only by changing internally. After all, if we consider the crisis as a kind of lesson, then it is possible to get out of it only by assimilating new knowledge.
The Crisis. How To Get Out? Part 3
When a person finds himself in a crisis situation for him, then most often he tries not to break down. In other words, he is trying to hold on rather strongly to those values and meanings of his life, which, under the influence of the crisis, have already lost their relevance.
The Crisis. How To Get Out? Part 2
Our thinking is arranged in such a way that in crisis situations, a person's attention is directed to the past. At the same time, such memories in a crisis are not at all resource for a person, rather the opposite. If we represent this process in the form of a metaphor, then we get a big beam of a searchlight, which is directed into the past, while it does not illuminate either the present or the future.
The Crisis. How To Get Out?
When a person finds himself in an unpleasant situation, then, first of all, his internal state changes. And after that, the perception of the surrounding reality. At the same time, we are more inclined to see more negativity, at such moments a person finds himself in a state of crisis.
