Each person is unique as a person - different temperaments, characters, abilities, inclinations, interests, views of the world.
And all these are different areas of our psyche.
I often use images in my work, and so the psyche can be presented as an image of a house.
He has rooms, rooms that are available to him, and he is more often in them, and consciousness.
And there are those that he does not even know about. It can be an attic or a basement.
Some are available while others are under lock and key.
This is the world of our subconscious.
The depth and height of this world is inconceivable to measure, although it is possible to discover what the person himself "sent" there.
And why?
And because something can be a threat to his "I".
And more often this all happened in childhood, when much was frightening, it was incomprehensible.
These are repressed episodes, when the "I" got hurt, faced with something that shocked, which seemed unacceptable, since the psyche possessed magical thinking.
Everything that did not fit into this kind of thinking was in the basement. And so as not to disturb even under lock and key.
And you can continue to live and rejoice.
The situation is a little different with the attic.
This is the sphere of imagination, fantasy, and the connection with it is nevertheless closer to consciousness.
To explore yourself, it is still worth paying more attention to the basement.
What is happening there?
And there energies are seething, trying to break through, to be heard and seen.
But there are strong defenses, guards, which do not allow to get into the premises of consciousness.
And then there is a loophole in the form of psychosomatics.
Now the heart hurts, then the head, etc.
And like it or not, you have to deal with the whole house.
In childhood, it was scary, in adulthood there is an opportunity to review the events that hurt, to find resources for this.
And at the same time expand the area of the house where there is consciousness.
This work is not easy. You can't just knock down the locks and break into the basement.
But you can attract the resources of the upper floors and the attic, that is, our imagination.
And with the help of it, using images, you can ecologically explore everything that is in our house.
