You can imagine a world consisting of one

women, but you cannot imagine a world consisting of

some men.

Do you think homosexuality is normal or not? Should such people be treated? What are Sexual Norms?

Currently, the concept of a norm is very vague, sexologists and psychiatrists consider it in 3 contexts:

- statistical norm (what happens most often)

- moral norm (what is normal at this time and in this

society.

- functional norm (what allows to function normally).

Thus, the norm of sexuality is an optimal combination of anatomical and physiological, social, socio-psychological manifestations of sexuality. And the concept of the norm is ambiguous. First, the concept of "norm" means a standard to which one must be equal, but the standards are different and change. Secondly, the norm, as an average statistical value, also has an average statistical deviation. Thirdly, the norm, as the optimum of the course of processes, is always individual. Thus, as long as the freedom of one does not interfere with the freedom of the other, everything is fine.

Exist deviation of behavior (sexual) is a deviation from the behavior of the majority, but within the functional norm. That is, if a person is able to perform ordinary sexual intercourse with a woman, but sometimes resorts to other methods of satisfaction, this is considered normal. There are such deviations:

- apotemnophilia - attraction to people with physical deformities.

- asphyxiophilia - an attraction associated with suffocation.

- autoasynophilia - attraction associated with imitation of one's own suffocation.

- visionism - peeping.

-gerontophilia - attraction to the elderly.

- bestiality - sex with animals. Very common.

- kandaulizism - showing your partner.

- coprophilia - sexual arousal from being smeared with sewage.

- myzophilia - excitement from dirty laundry

- parthenophilia - attraction to virgins.

- pyrophilia - attraction to fire.

- transvestism - dressing up in clothes of the opposite sex.

- exhibitionism - exposing your genitals.

- necrophilia - intercourse with a corpse

- homosexuality - attraction to people of the same sex.

This is not a complete list of behavioral deviations, but the ability to perform normal sexual intercourse in these cases remains. That is, it’s a matter of severity. If a person is capable of sexual satisfaction only in the above-named ways (or similar), deviations turn into sexual disorders.

The exception is homosexuality, which has long been excluded from the list of psychiatric diseases and refers to behavioral deviations.

The reasons for homosexuality are still not fully understood. Currently, scientists distinguish:

-genetic, -emotional, -cultural reasons.

It should be borne in mind that the person is potentially bisexual. Bisexuality is inherent in nature. The human embryo initially has the characteristics of both sexes, what type of development it will develop depends on changes in hormonal levels, in particular testosterone production.

Prevalence of homosexuality: 3-4% of men and 1-2% of women have always been and will be homosexual. Homosexuality is also found in the animal kingdom. B. Badgemeal, a Canadian scientist, found homosexual behavior in 450 species of animals, while these are not one-time contacts, but long-term relationships. For example, in penguins every 20th family is same-sex. Homosexual behavior is also found in dolphins and primates.

Sexual fantasies are also considered normal. The most common male fantasies are:

1 change of partner.

2 violent intercourse with a woman.

3. observation of sexual activity.

4.group sex.

5. homosexual contacts.

Female Sexual Fantasies:

1 change of partner

2 violent intercourse with a man

3. Observation of sexual activity

4. Idyllic encounters with a stranger

5. homosexual contacts (love date with lesbians).

Only primitive individuals or those who realize them do not have sexual fantasies.

It is interesting that in the relationship between the sexes for men, the sexual component is in the first place, for women - the emotional one. The paradox is that a woman wants to have sexual intercourse with a man who loves her, and a man can understand whether he loves only by engaging in sexual intercourse.

Myths about sex

Many sexual disharmony in a pair union arises from ignorance about sexuality. One of the sexual myths is the myth of an erotic paradise, about the ideal satisfaction of one's sexual needs. This means that a person expects from himself and his sexual partner an ideal high potency, prolonged sexual activity, a variety of forms of sexual activity, relaxedness and freedom, expects that everything should be easy in sex. Such an erotic paradise symbolizes the intrauterine life of the embryo, the desire to return to this state. Hence - escape from difficulties and failures, avoidance of mismatch of expectations. … It is important to remember that difficult does not mean impossible. This only means difficulties in adaptation. And this requires patience and the desire of loving people. And do not be afraid to seek help from a specialist (psychologist, psychotherapist, sex therapist). And remember that such a specialist is guided in his work by the principle of immoralism, that is, he is outside of morality, does not operate with categories morally-immoral. You can tell him about everything.
