Sex is one of the most important aspects of an adult's life. Everyone's needs for him are very individual, this also applies to the moment of choosing a partner or a partner for this. By and large, sex is an integral part of relationships, but it also happens that some people practice it just like that, which is called for health. In a conversation about sex between a man and a woman, it is necessary to distinguish two layers, this is actually sex itself and love. Of course, it is great when sex is a continuation of love, but more often the desire for intimacy arises in people before this feeling is formed.

During falling in love, the desire for bodily possession of a partner has the character of passion. And the refusal is perceived very painfully by both men and women. For men, this is a very strong blow to his status, to his conceit, since most often men have a lot of illusions in their heads about this. When a woman refuses a man to have sex despite his claims, he does not receive confirmation of his status and therefore is very worried about this.

A woman in modern society can express her sexual desires more freely than in the past. However, when a woman herself offers sex to a man, she also has an attitude, and in most cases of a social nature, that women are not denied. For women, the refusal of a man is no less painful event and experiences no less than that of a man.

When a man or woman receives a refusal to have sex from a member of the opposite sex, then first of all they begin to look for the reason in themselves. And sometimes with such zeal that it leads to negative consequences. The fact is that it is extremely rare for a partner or female partner to explain the reason for the refusal. People often want to look dignified, in accordance with the established stereotypes of behavior in bed, and it is very difficult to admit that they do not have arousal in relation to a partner. The reasons can be very different. For a woman, it may be the conditions themselves or the place, she does not feel safe. A man may feel overstimulated at a physiological level, or anxiety. Without explaining to the partner the reason for the refusal, people create for him a problem that is difficult to solve on his own.

Another common option for denying sex is when a person (it does not matter whether it is a man or a woman) has a very strong desire for another, but the fear of disappointment becomes much stronger. It is he who will be the obstacle that provokes the refusal. The fear that everything will be wrong, and if you add to this the fear of looking somehow wrong in the eyes of your partner, then refusal seems to be the best way out. The illusions that live in a person's head in this case will be the strongest restraining factor for him. Although it seems that everyone is already adults.

Refusal can be motivated also by the fact that the person is married, and sees this as an obstacle, since it is important for him. And naturally, one should not discount the fact that a person may have completely different feelings for another that do not dispose to sexual pleasures.

For both men and women, attitudes about not having sex are largely shaped by their own expectations of a mate or partner. Moreover, these expectations are based either on a personal assessment of the situation, or on those templates that are accepted by the morality of society. It is difficult to survive a refusal to have sex, but not fatal, you just have to be more realistic about your expectations, and understand that all people are different, and even more so, the attitude towards sex. In such situations, it is better to be more attentive to the circumstances, mood and state of the partner, his real attitude, than to engage in self-digging and worries about your own expectations.
