II. Analysis of the metaphor. Finding the actual source.
I ask the client to think if the man who comes to mind reminds her of someone from the distant past? She immediately remembers: yes, there was one villain who scared her to horror. The story is as follows … Once, when the client was still 17 (at the time of her virginity, absolute inexperience and special timidity in relation to the opposite sex), a 30-year-old man stepped after her into the dark winter entrance. He grabbed her by the shoulders, showed a huge knife, threatening to kill if she resisted. Then there was some failure - the girl does not remember exactly how she managed to win the stranger's condescension, but by demonstrating the man's benevolence and humility, she disposed him to confessions. The attacker relented, sat down on the steps and began to reveal his unhappy soul to the scared victim, how he hates all women, how seriously he suffered from his wife and how seriously he really suffers. The girl listened humbly, showed sympathy, even cried. Neighbors passed by, the interlocutor fell silent, the frightened victim did not cry for help. And later, catching the moment, she asked to leave home and was unexpectedly released - but only for a minute, with the condition of returning. Of course, having reached the apartment, the girl closed herself and hid. She never saw this man again.
