Have you noticed how much time in life you devote to certain pleasures?

Among all the types of pleasures of our time, we can list the following, into which we literally fall through and do not notice how much of our time they take - watching TV, TV programs, news, hanging on Facebook, VK, non-stop reading on the Internet, TV series and watching them or on TV. or on the Internet, computer games in a mobile or laptop, chewing on something tasty, chatting on the phone for two hours, enjoying music, sitting in a cafe and chatting with friends in the daily non-stop mode, flying for hours into your own dreams and fantasies, etc..d.

If you choose to relax after a day of work, what will it be? We look above. It seems okay, the time is like that, everyone lives like that, but it doesn't bother much, and you also need to relax.

All these types of pleasures, I refer to the pleasures of the external world of man. So the trap is that the further, every day, systematically we take these pleasures for our reality, for "nothing terrible", the further we move away from having real pleasures, which are contained in the feeling of inner enjoyment of our life.

We prefer not to pay attention to what these pleasures turn us into, what happens to our health, what signals our body sends us. We complain that we have such hard work that after it you can only eat up, fall on the couch and turn on the TV or surf the Internet. What kind of charging after work are you talking about? We hear what kind of enjoyment of life we can talk about, I have not gone on vacation for several years, home - work, work - home. But at home after work we still enjoy. And who's to say that the above are not pleasures? And the more often we get hooked, make a choice in the direction of these pleasures, the greater the risk of not taking a step towards what brings real pleasure.

The next question, of course, will be, what is this so-called real pleasure?

There is a simple, and somewhere a difficult answer - pleasure obtained with some effort. An excellent example in this sense is the daily lifestyle of people involved in sports. Every day, or almost every day, they put in a certain amount of effort that leads to better physical fitness, increased stamina, better well-being - and, ultimately, enjoyment of it all. Although a certain trap is hidden here for those who start to enjoy sports, because in this way, I receive increased attention from the opposite sex, I post a photo of my beautiful body on the social network, and see how many likes I got for it. Hop! And the trap of external pleasures awaited you here too.

And what do you say to the fact that true pleasure is the effort with which your self-worth grows, self-esteem is so quiet, calm, inner. And you do not need to wait for recognition from someone, when through tension you have achieved something, you just feel that you feel good, it becomes more comfortable for you to live - just for you.

True pleasures are those that come as a result of inner soul work. If we intend to receive something as a result of applied mental or physical labor, then such pleasure enriches us, makes us stronger. And light pleasures make you weaker.

Another trap that a person who is not sophisticated often falls into - here they say that if you want, everything will be easy! Should be easy! I need to go to a psychologist, and when I get rid of my psychological problems, everything will be easy to achieve - my career will go like clockwork, the boss will raise my salary tomorrow, my wife will stop grumbling, kilograms of excess weight will dissolve by themselves. A sea of literature - how to quit smoking easily, how to lose weight in 10 days, how to become a millionaire in 3 days, etc. This makes sense, yes, it appears lightness, but no matter how trivial, you need to make an effort for this. Take an example at the level of the physical body - will you get extra muscle because you just wanted it? Effort, effort, and more effort. Systematic and somewhat challenging.

Well, one more little secret. When will it turn out to switch to receiving internal pleasures. When the hooks of the factors of easy pleasures, achievements cease to cling to me, and I can really achieve what I want. The secret is simple - the secret is responsibility. When you understand that no one is responsible for your choice, that no one owes you anything, neither relatives, nor bosses, nor the state, that you are the only one who is responsible for your life, then you will meet with yourself and with your real possibilities. And how not trite when you ask yourself the question: "My God, what exactly can I do in this situation?" When you start doing, just doing, and yes, putting more effort into the area in which you are waiting for changes, not expecting that someone will do something for you, or the stars will converge in the sky, certain circumstances will arise, and life will get better.

You say, but how? Many people who have reached a certain standard of living, who rest, travel, have everything they want and enjoy life. Yes, and as soon as there are a lot of these pleasures, and we live only by them, and the pleasures that are obtained through efforts, namely internal efforts, go into oblivion, all these pleasures become boring. Such a life becomes boring too. Then, the understanding of the movement from external to internal may become clearer. When you see that in the pursuit of your every desire in the outer world, you are disappointed again and again. And looking for where to turn your gaze? Turn inward. And go for it.

Well, if you remember these words, in this context they are very relevant: "If you do nothing, I assure you, nothing will happen" Jacques Fresco
