Quite often, people who are just starting to cost a relationship say they will try to avoid lying to their partner or partner. Such a desire is very commendable, but very often the situation in reality is exactly the opposite. And it's not about total honesty (sometimes its consequences can be painful), but about the fact that people lie to each other for completely different reasons. Moreover, these motives are very different for men and women. Today we will focus on why men start to lie to their women.

As a rule, at the beginning of the relationship, despite the fact that there is still no complete trust within the couple, if there is a lie, then in a small amount. Because a man tries to make a favorable impression on the woman he has chosen. And if he is not a pathological liar, or a braggart, then he tries to avoid lying. Subsequently, he and she get to know each other better, and accordingly, the man begins to see what information and how his chosen one perceives. And since it is important for him to make her happy and please her, he gradually begins to hide his true thoughts, desires, and then actions from the woman.

Women quite often themselves provoke a man to lie. This happens because, often, women are not ready to accept the truth. And this is not so much their conscious belief, but rather the strength of habit and pattern of behavior. When a man and a woman have been together for a long time, then women's desires to hear the truth from their man become selective. In other words, a woman gets used to a certain comfort in communication, and it is more pleasant for her not to hear from a man some possibly unpleasant things. After all, it's easier to live with illusions. Women sometimes place themselves in a kind of comfort zone, from which they do not want to leave. Men, by the way, by their behavior very much contribute to the emergence of such a zone. And if a man tries to break it with his truthful statements, then the woman's reaction will most likely be very harsh.

A couple of illustrations from life. A man sees a woman on the street and tells his partner that this woman looks great, his companion immediately turns to him with the assumption that he wants to leave her for "this woman." But the man simply told the truth, he just stated the fact that he saw, but after such a reaction, in the future, he will most likely avoid telling the truth. Another example is when a man openly tells a woman that he is not satisfied with the quality of their relationship and does not know what to do next. In most cases, a woman responds with reproaches, starting with the fact that the man underestimates her and ending with the fact that he himself is to blame for everything. (Both examples are from customers). Not every woman is ready to leave her comfort zone in order to hear the truth from her man. It also happens that a woman, knowing that her husband has a mistress, prefers to turn a blind eye to this, and this is only because she is afraid to accept the truth.

Referring to the fact that she wants to hear the truth from a man, a woman must be prepared for the fact that, this truth, she may not always like and be pleasant. Deception and understatement in relationships ruins them. Partners will learn best not to lie to themselves, first of all, and then to each other.
