In addition to the material body shell, a person has invisible components - soul and spirit. They are connected into a single whole and are in constant interaction. The principle of the trinity of human nature is recognized by both religious teachings and science. Therefore, the treatment of ailments and general health must be approached in a comprehensive manner, influencing these three aspects.

We support the body with a balanced diet and water regime, giving up certain habits, such as smoking, alcohol, and a sedentary lifestyle. Control of thoughts and emotions, inner harmony is important for mental health. The state of mind is determined by our actions.

Can a person be mentally healthy without sincerity, purity of thoughts and actions? Artificial smiles, attempts to go against their desires for the sake of material benefits or privileges destroy both the psyche and the body.

To be healthy and happy, it is important to live in joy, to define interesting goals, and strive to achieve them. Life problems should be perceived only as temporary obstacles on the way. Set tasks to eliminate them, find solutions. Stay optimistic and move on like a fun game.

Avoid socializing with people from whom you lose energy. Skeptics, pessimists, individuals who are psychologically oppressed by authority, scandalousness or pity - they should be excluded from the social circle. Learn to put internal blocks and not to react to the statements and actions of those whom you cannot refuse, for example, close relatives.

Adjust your life so that there are as few stressful situations as possible. Learn to disconnect from negative thoughts. Creativity, hobbies, theater, communication with friends help with this. Choose an activity that you enjoy. Strive to raise the level of serotonin, which is responsible for the state of joy.

Following these fundamentals helps you stay healthy. Even if illness does occur, the healing and recovery processes proceed much faster than other people. It is enough just to realize the disease, understand the reason, mentally say it and correct the mistake in action.

My conclusions on the topic of health psychology are based primarily on personal observations. As an applied discipline, it has been studied by world scientists for a long time. Their research is backed up by practical experience.

Among the founders of health psychology is the German physician Raik Hamer, who has identified a direct link between shock situations and cancer. He believed that tragic events that happened to different people caused similar diseases in them. Hungarian Roberto Barnai, who later became the popularizer of New Medicine, author of the Atlas of Organov, linked his colon cancer disease with the shock he had experienced. He was able to psychologically work through the traumatic situation and heal from the disease. The fact was confirmed by official medicine.

Academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences A. M. Ugolev carried out deep research in the field of physiology, autonomic functions and their regulation. His theory that the intestinal microflora works as a separate independent organ is recognized by the world scientific community. Ugolev, back in the middle of the last century, advocated the rejection of sweets, canned foods and refined flour. In his works, he showed how the quality of consumed products affects the emotional state of a person.

In practice, this means that the more natural we eat, the happier we are. This is what was required to be proved, and we again return to the indissoluble links of one chain: body, spirit and emotions.
