How are energy and psychology related? - you ask. Let's try to figure it out. Why do we say about some: "energetic, impetuous, active", and about others - "slow, phlegmatic, painstaking"? That is, we characterize the speed, activity and general level of human vital energy.

Energy is how active and mobile we are, how quickly many processes, including various mental processes, proceed in us. We intuitively feel that the level of energy and general activity can be different for different people, and even for one person, depending on his condition. Those. the level of energy and activity is something that changes in us and is not predetermined and determined.

We can see fluctuations in energy levels depending on the time of day, season, depending on changes in our internal processes. Some rhythms (cycles) of our life are determined by the characteristics of society and culture. For example, in the 18th century, sleep with wakefulness in the middle of the night for several hours was considered normal; the rhythm of life in a big city can be very different from the rhythm of rural life. It is under these rhythms that our energy processes in the body are built - a change in the rhythms of rest and activity, the accumulation of energy and its manifestation.

The most interesting thing is that we can be aware of these processes and make changes to them. We can increase the level of our activity, energy, or vice versa, decrease, slow down.

If you do decide to give it a try, the first step, of course, is to observe what rhythms you have. What helps you to be active? When do you slow down the most? What does it give you? Which rhythm or activity level is more comfortable for you? How do you respond to increased energy levels? Are you able to track fluctuations in the rhythms of activity?

You can see that for some areas of life a higher energy level will be optimal, for others a slower and lower energy level. For example, if it is important for us to be in contact with ourselves, then for this it is better to slow down, come to a more balanced level of energy, give ourselves the opportunity to listen to internal processes. If we want to have time to do a few chores around the house, then a higher energy level will do. In addition to self-observation, there are special exercises that help regulate energy levels. If you want to reduce your activity, then you can use meditation techniques. They are usually very effective in helping to slow down and move to the slowing pole. Observing your breathing, deepening your inhalation, and slowing down your exhalation can also help you slow down, while active exercise increases your energy levels. Rubbing your body with a towel after a shower or self-massage with tapping and tapping brisk movements can help you activate and get in shape quickly, but it's important to remember that for a good physical and psychological state, the cycles of activity and a calm, slow state must alternate. It is impossible to keep yourself active all the time. After a while, exhaustion may occur. Whether you like it or not, your body takes care of itself and organizes the opportunity for relaxation. Therefore, take care of yourself during))
