But it definitely shouldn't be what determines and decides your future for you. Even yesterday remained there, beyond the horizon of the present. Don't beat yourself up for what you did or didn't do, how you did it, and what kind of relationship you got into. At that time, you were doing the only thing that was possible and accessible. Let this watercolor dry, no matter how dark colors it may be. If it scares you, hide it between your favorite books on the shelf so that you always know where it is stored. Hide and paint on your present.

I wish you to live and breathe in this present, no matter how pathetic and hackneyed it may sound. Our here and now is all there is. Both in therapy and beyond.
