When I once again in my practice face the problem of the traditional conflict between the daughter-in-law and the mother-in-law, I really want to illustrate and call this situation with such a phrase, such a question: "How to divide a boy?"

Jealousy is at the heart of these conflicts and confrontations.

Women are fighting for the right to be the main thing in the life of their beloved man. For one, this man is a son, for another - a husband.

And it would seem that the answer has been found. Different roles, different approaches and different tasks in relationships for each of the women. But for some reason this does not solve the problem, but even exacerbates it. Women arrange a competition in which the main prize is a man, a son and a husband.

However, they completely forget that the man has already made his choice: the first time this choice was made after birth, and the second time - with his heart. And both women, mother and wife, are central to his life.

Both of them can climb to the first step of the podium. And they can take each of their own, but also the first.

Why don't they know about it?

Why they continue to fight, tear the "boy" apart, thereby requiring the man to make a choice in favor of one of them.

What does the mother-in-law want to prove?

That she is better than her daughter-in-law! She cooks better, runs the house better, knows a lot and knows how. Yes, she is, she is older and more experienced. This is clear without evidence.

What does the daughter-in-law prove?

That she is no worse than her mother-in-law, that she, too, can and can do a lot, and even younger and more beautiful. And this is also true. Could this extraordinary man, because of whom all the fuss, have chosen another? He chose the best! Again, the evidence is superfluous.

And what about the object of jealousy itself?

Maybe he likes that he is being divided and fought for? Probably, there are amateurs, but I think that there are not many of them, I have not met yet. More and more, on the contrary, there are those who are tired of this enmity and competition.

But they do not know how to resolve this conflict, and they are also very worried.

Thus, as long as the women are sharing the "boy," he suffers.

When women are fighting with each other, and pulling a man in different directions, each in its own, he can get tired of this and break out of their hands, and not get any of them, but find a third option.
