Why does it sometimes happen that, being a regular client of psychologists, a person still does not fundamentally change his lifestyle? As he did not find himself in creativity and work, he does not find himself. As he could not create a family, he does not. As he did not believe in himself, he does not believe in them. Simply, already without deep feelings on this score.

Of course, a person gains acceptance of himself, his situation, anxiety disappears. And this in itself is a huge achievement and thank you for making this possible.

But anyway. If we want to go further than finding peace of mind, we may find ourselves hitting a wall while working with a therapist. Everything is already clear, feelings are already liberated … But why am I standing still?

The point is that psychotherapy works with our emotional sphere. The sphere of attitudes, or reason, of course, it also concerns. But mostly only in order to free those very feelings and emotions from captivity. Cognitive behavioral therapy is doing very well with this. It works even with fairly serious violations of the emotional-volitional sphere.

But the matter does not go further than bringing it back to normal through a change of attitudes. But in vain!

This becomes a stumbling block. Not only in working with a therapist, but also in life, for many people.

Outdated self-image!

About their capabilities, abilities, permissions.

To some extent, these attitudes do change in therapeutic work. But these changes relate to the area in which a person previously felt like a child who needs to obey his parents. Let's just say that the inner child becomes much freer and many fears simply dissolve.

However, the ideas that relate to our adult state (that's all the word "can" refers to) - remain the same.

That is, on "I want" a person gains permission, but with "I can" there are difficulties.

Many people, however, just need to free their "want" so that changes enter their lives. However, there are those for whom this is not enough.

In this case, the stage of working with installations is necessary.

These are the same affirmations, self-hypnosis, autogenic training.

It has already been scientifically proven that our thoughts influence reality. We are what we feel about ourselves. Yes, yes, we do not think, but we feel. It's just that what we feel about ourselves is the result of our thoughts.

Bad mood, sadness, self-doubt are feelings that are awakened by some kind of hard thoughts.

Thoughts can and should be controlled!

This is done by that part of the personality called the inner Adult.

All successful individuals know this secret. More precisely, this is not a secret, but information known to everyone. But happy people do manage their fortunes through thought control.

The best thing about psychotherapy is that it teaches us to be aware of our states to detect negative thoughts and ideas that affect us. Through greater disclosure of feelings, through allowing us to acknowledge our experiences and emotions, to express them, we can begin to see what triggers these experiences. These are thoughts.

And if we start working with attitudes, a psychologist is no longer needed here. Unless in order to mirror a person's limiting beliefs.

Exercise for the initial detection of limiting beliefs in oneself

Answer yourself to the question - what do I really want?

Now tell us why you still don't have it.

Now, all these reasons that you name are your limiting beliefs.

What to do with them? Change!

How?

This is a whole art. Which is within the power of every person in the world!

It's like learning to walk or write. It seems incredibly difficult at first. But then we can dance and write beautiful lyrics …

Here's a great new setup for you right now, to get you started.

"If others could do it, so can I!"
