Psychotherapy, like other activities, has its own contraindications. There are situations where psychotherapy will not work or even be harmful. To avoid disappointment, loss of money and time, and maybe even a deterioration in well-being, before making an appointment, pay attention to the following points:

  1. Magic pill. If you are counting on a special pill or magic technique that will quickly and immediately do you well, then psychotherapy will not help you. You will only waste your money on the first meeting, at which they will tell you that, firstly, there will be no pills, and secondly, the matter will not do with one meeting. You will be upset, angry, and the money cannot be returned. Why do you need such problems? Better go directly to a psychiatrist or a shaman - they just have a lot of "magic pills" and "magic techniques". In addition, psychiatrists are admitted in hospitals free of charge. It is not at all necessary that you will be immediately given this very pill, and it is not at all necessary that it will immediately help you, and even if it does, there will always be some nasty side effects … but at least you will get what you came for.
  2. Responsibility. If your desire is to absolve yourself of responsibility: you want your sins to be forgiven, justified, made a decision for you, told you what to do, or that someone "such" would do something with you so that became "good", then you definitely better beware of psychotherapy! The villain-psychotherapist will force you to come up with a way out on your own, will refuse to absolve you of your sins, it will take a long time to figure out something and get to the bottom of some "your personal truth" instead of just plainly saying what needs to be done. The point is that psychotherapists do not have mystical abilities. These are ordinary people. Therefore, save your strength and go better to sorcerers, witches, gurus, priests, in the end - this is precisely their job, to remove something from the soul, to issue simple instructions for a happy life, to guide you on the right path. Sorcerers and witches, of course, are rarely cheap, and you usually need to go to a good guru to distant lands, and it may not work, but you are guaranteed not to decide anything yourself.

  3. Time. If you are tormented by vague doubts, and you want the result immediately, if you want to live well and happily now, or even better yesterday, then in no case go to psychotherapy! After all, the therapist will begin to understand you, even worse, he will begin to force you to understand yourself, and this will be long and dreary, and often also unpleasant. You will have to come and give him "your money" every week, month after month. And most likely without any clear prospects and a specific date for the onset of happiness. Therapists do not know how quickly, whether it is psychics, voodoo sorcerers, witches and fortune-tellers! These comrades will tell you clearly, clearly and immediately when, what time, where and who will have happiness and how to take this happiness for yourself. It is very simple and convenient. Most often, a couple of meetings are enough. It happens, of course, that the result never comes or passes quickly, but here you really need to be prepared for the fact that the energy world is a delicate matter and you can always look for a more powerful fortune-teller witch.

  4. Rules. If you feel like a self-confident person and give yourself the will to do what you want and when you want, if you prefer your opinion to everyone else, and consider the rules in any form a relic of imperialism, then pass by psychotherapy and do not linger. After all, a psychotherapist literally at the first or second meeting will start rubbing you in on the rules, will oblige you to comply with them, and will even refuse to work with you if you break these rules. In psychotherapy it is eternal: do not do this, then do it without fail, this is not allowed, this is possible - you will get confused! This limited method is not for you! Better to find some scandalous trainer or world famous TV presenter of trainings, someone on a grand scale, confident in their boundless powers in front of a crowd of thousands. These are not always safety-focused psychotherapists. Here there will be expanse - you will do what your heart desires and with anyone. On the other hand, they will do whatever they want with you, anyone and whenever they want, but what you don’t sacrifice for the sake of the idea of free will.

  5. Work. And finally, if you are blue-blooded, accustomed to the fact that nurses do everything for you, if you think that you work hard enough in your work field and work on yourself is already too much, if you think that work is only physical, well or, in extreme cases, mental, then psychotherapy is contraindicated for you. At the very first meetings, the psychotherapist will brazenly tell you that you will not only need to work with your soul, but you will have to work by the sweat of your brow and yourself. For your own money, he will just sit and offer you to work until you lose strength over your own psychic Augean stables, never once embarrassed. But even this is not yet the worst thing, because this will be not one, not two meetings, but all the time. Actually, this is what psychotherapy is about - this is when the client himself works on his soul. And the harder he works, the more fruits he gets. It's really very heavy and stinks in places. Find a better decent hypnotist, he just himself will correct your brains as needed. Well, a doctor with a "magic pill" can also help in this case, because the pill also works by itself. True, the effect may turn out to be unexpected and completely unnecessary for you, but after all, everything was done for you and you didn't have to hump.

For those rare individuals who are ready to work on themselves, invest time, money and effort, who strive to follow the rules and respect their partner, who are ready to take responsibility for their lives - welcome to psychotherapy, you have everything you need to make your life pleasant and happy!
