We are used to looking at our figure from the point of view of where to lose weight, where to tighten muscles, and where to build up shape. Do you know that your figure tells about what kind of person you are, what you want, what you suffer from, what are you afraid of? The body can tell more than just the lifestyle and diet you follow.
Incredible, but true: Canadian psychologist Liz Burbo has established that our figure stores information about our psychological trauma. What can you learn about yourself and your friends just by looking at them carefully? There are several basic body types and interpretations for each type.
TYPE "SKINNY"
Are you jealous of anorexic models who weigh less than 50 kg and whose bones are literally shining through? Not worth it! Such a physique is an indicator of the "rejected" trauma.
The "rejected" trauma is characterized by a very fragile, painfully thin body. Such a person can easily appear invisible from the outside and generally knows how to "blend in with the background." The rejected categorically do not want to be in the spotlight.
The trauma of the rejected is typical of unwanted children. For example, when a mother passionately dreamed of a son, and a daughter was born. Or when the father was not at all ready to have children and the son became more a burden for him than a long-awaited gift. Rejected people feel redundant all the time. They do not believe in their right to exist. They are very afraid to panic and not cope with their own fear. They are closed, difficult to open up and communicate mainly with people whom they have known for a long time.
TYPE "FRAGILE BEING"
You've probably noticed how many girls have problems with posture. Despite the achievements of modern medicine, not so many manage to get rid of stoop and tone their body. And all because stooped shoulders and a weak, as if sagging body - indicates the internal trauma of the "abandoned".
Such a girl has been thrown by people more than once, and, moreover, mainly males. Starting with the father, who either left the family, or just once at an important moment for the girl was not there, and ending with the boyfriends, who often leave this lady either for the sake of other ladies, or for the sake of their work / entertainment / friends / relatives, etc. …
People with the trauma of the abandoned love to attract everyone's attention. It is this psychotype that most often makes a career in politics, show business, etc. The abandoned are most afraid of loneliness. That is why they try to surround themselves with crowds of people.
And the most beloved and close ones are usually kept close to themselves, falling into dependence on them. "I cannot live without you", "If you leave me, I will commit suicide", "I feel so bad, how can you turn your back on me at a difficult moment?" - these are the typical ways of being abandoned to keep a loved one close.
TYPE "FLEXIBLE"
Plump women, whose figure resembles a liquid apple, suffer from the trauma of the "humiliated". In childhood, they were repeatedly humiliated, including in public, for example, calling them "filthy" or "sloppy pig".
Growing up, such women became painfully shy. Possessing truly maternal kindness, caring, sensitivity, ladies of this type always try to take all their acquaintances under their wing. And they often take on other people's problems.
People with the trauma of the humiliated are ashamed of their needs and believe that pampering themselves is a terrible selfishness and blatant indecency. Still, the body requires some kind of reward for hard work. That is why such women constantly eat sweets and not only their needs, especially sexual ones.
TYPE "HANGING A PEAR, DO NOT EAT"
There are women with an extraordinarily sensual figure. They have a light top - neat, small chest, slender shoulders and a lush bottom - wide hips, an emerging tummy, expressive buttocks. The trauma of a "devotee" is inherent in these women. Their main problem is that people, especially males, do not live up to their expectations.
As a result, such women find it difficult to trust other people, since everyone around them seems to be traitors. Such women really want to be reliable and obligatory, but in fact they manage to do it with great difficulty. They are excellent manipulators and are adept at controlling other people. However, due to a lack of trust, their excessive control reaches the point of absurdity and can bring a lot of excitement to themselves and those around them.
TYPE "PERFECTION"
Girls with flawlessly proportioned bodies and ideal figures suffer from the trauma of injustice. In childhood, parents did not appreciate any of their merits or, on the contrary, accused them of something in vain. Since then, injustice has become a major problem for these girls. They strive for perfectionism in everything, because they do not want to be vulnerable and give others a reason to “dig in”.
From the outside they can look like "snow queens", cold and indifferent. But in fact, they just got used to constantly "keep their face". They are afraid to show their vulnerability. But at the same time, if other people treat the "unjustly accused" coldly, they will be terribly hurt and offend them.
These are too general noticed images and do not always coincide, and it happens that in some people the body indicates the presence of several injuries at once. What type of figure dominates, such emotional trauma prevails. However, the path to healing is full acceptance of oneself with all its advantages, features and even disadvantages …
