In the 21st century, contact with the deep unconscious is an opportunity to receive answers or guidelines for new decisions and changes. To stand still, to lead a monotonous lifestyle is no longer suitable for many. What was good for grandparents, for us, their grandchildren, a step back. The world has accelerated, one social process is being replaced by another. Those who are late, hold on to social patterns ("a woman must be married", "a woman is inferior if she has no children," "a man must provide for a family"), be afraid to change something, gain new knowledge, master new skills, to try and take risks, they plunge even more into pain and fears, all locks and bolts are closed from opportunities and changes. Now, for one generation, the process is becoming visible when the family system is being depleted of resources.

The world has accelerated, changes are taking place abruptly and rapidly.

How can family constellations help in this case?

Many people miss one moment, everything that happens in society - crises, degradation, decay or rise, flourishing and development - has a direct and powerful impact on the family system. Fears, experiences and pain may begin to appear in a person's life, which have never existed before. Out of nowhere, there are problems with money, relationships, difficulties where they should not have been at all.

As if out of nowhere a wave of condemnation of the past and claims to the ancestors "you are not like that, you thought wrong, you did wrong" rises, the focus from the future and life is shifted to the past and suffering. The state of "eternal pain", "eternal injustice", "eternal sacrifice" - and already literally within one generation (which is the most amazing!) And a person falls into fears and doubts, thinking narrows to the level of "tunnel" consciousness. Sometimes they say that: “before I could do this and that, but now it’s even scary to change my job”.

What happens in society during a crisis resonates with the family system. And those pains, losses and fears, generic prohibitions, the feeling of “impending disaster” or “hopelessness” or “horror and hopelessness” are actualized. So they say: "I have always looked confidently into the future, and now I am afraid for tomorrow."

At the level of the deep unconscious, there are processes that require their permission, excluded to become included in the system, not manifested to become visible.

After all, everything that hurts, scares, terrifies - and there are the very resources that a person needs. Strength and movement towards life, new changes and level of income, all this is not taken out of thin air. This requires a new vision of goals and objectives, new solutions and new steps and a resource can be taken from the pain that was actualized in a person's life. A lot of pain = a lot of strength, my mentor's favorite phrase.

Of course, from reality and pain, you can constantly run, compete with time, who is faster. Convincing yourself that everything will somehow resolve itself. After all, social crises come to an end and suffering also has an end.

Yes, one process will change and another will start. But only for those who did not have time to extract strength from their pain, grow up in the crisis, reorganize to new goals and objectives, master new knowledge and tools, there will no longer be opportunities in the new process, nor for anything else. Family systems are degrading in the same way.

In our world, all processes have accelerated. And what used to take several generations, now one is enough. He who does not have time is late and loses, but already forever.
