Even now, in the age "every second is a psychologist" 😀, we, people, do not quite understand our own feelings, sometimes we do not quite understand what is happening to us, what exactly we feel, and sometimes we react emotionally, but later we do not understand why this is so reacted, and not otherwise, even if this reaction was to our detriment.
And there are people who, it seems to them, do not feel anything at all, they do not understand their feelings, do not realize them, do not distinguish between subtle emotional processes. This condition is called alexithymia.
Today I decided to briefly describe the most important feelings and why we need them. And at the same time to assume what may be hidden behind this or that feeling. If it is interesting, in the future I can write the "alphabet of feelings" in the next posts, but now … get acquainted 😊
FEAR is a reaction to physical or emotional danger.
ANGER is a reaction to the dissatisfaction of your needs. And also the reaction to protecting your personal boundaries.
SADNESS is a reaction to any loss: a thing, a relationship (real or imagined), a reaction to the loss of a person, an animal. This is a forced abandonment of what you were attached to, which was very dear to you.
EXCITATION - appears when we expect something good, we anticipate it.
JOY is a response to the satisfaction of our need.
So what could be behind these feelings?
Fear is followed by tension, embarrassment, excitement, anxiety.
Behind anger - resentment, annoyance, guilt, irritation.
For sadness - loneliness, boredom, devastation, depression.
Suffering often hides anger, fear, or sadness. And it would be nice to figure out what kind of feeling is behind it, because then you can take the next step, a step towards healing, and not towards depression.
Take care of yourself, develop your sensitivity and sensitivity to yourself. This will allow you to adequately respond, live and express yourself, and not somatize your unconscious feelings and "earn" illness.
If that: I'm near ❤

If Psychopaths Don't Have Empathy, How Can They Manipulate You?
By, Licensed Psychologist, Forensic Science Expert The most common observation about psychopaths is that they don't feel empathy. I said this myself in the courtroom, echoing a commonplace truth that I learned many years ago: "They are unable to empathize and are therefore prone to victimization (behavior provoking violence).
Hide He Advises, But They Are Not Clients
I do not write about the work of psychologists, but then I got inspiration on our website and decided to reflect on the topic of counseling by specialists to my relatives and friends. At the stage of training a profession, to one degree or another, psychologists train on those who are nearby.
