If a person asks the question "How to live further?", He probably had to endure a strong and traumatic shock to the psyche - the loss of a loved one (or separation), a favorite job, an affair with which there were many hopes, betrayal or any other events that "knocked from under the feet of the soil. " How to protect yourself in such situations and get out of the state of shock and psychological stress?

First of all, you need to give up any rash and harsh actions and "lay low". Quite often, under emotional influence, people begin to play out on others, trying to hurt them, or force themselves to suffer physically.

In a state of severe shock, you can make many mistakes not only in your life. That is why you just need to allow yourself to live (eat, sleep, communicate with loved ones, do not forget about personal hygiene), and your soul to rest during this time. Lack of proper personal care and adequate sleep can lead to more serious health problems, including depression.

When the pain begins to subside, the question arises - how to live further? The process of getting out of a state of shock can be compared to the beginning of a new life, and at this stage it is important to believe in yourself and your capabilities, start setting goals, and dream about something.

You can imagine your future (for example, six months later, depending on the stage of the experience of the event the person is at). If painful memories begin to fade, this is a signal to move on - to dream, plan, set goals and move towards achieving them. At this stage, it is important to perceive everything conceived as quite feasible and commensurate with your capabilities. A person must understand that there will be changes in life, they are possible and will definitely happen. Periodically, memories will pop up, this is quite normal, let pleasant or bad fragments of the experienced situation be in your head - remember, cry, be sad or roll in bed from powerlessness.

It is important to receive and give emotions, so you definitely need to find an interlocutor with whom you can discuss everything you have experienced, speak out, cry. Sometimes, on the contrary, you need a person for conversations on abstract topics, in order to "go out" into the real world or just be silent.

The next step is to learn how to enjoy and enjoy the little things (for example, delicious food - ice cream, fruit, meat). Eat and enjoy it - this is life. What else can cause positive emotions? Flowers, warm sun rays, beautiful pictures on the Internet, an interesting movie, a walk in the park, a pet.

Over time, you need to try something new, look for yourself in creativity, attend classes that will bring pleasure and enjoyment. The most important thing is to never give up. You can worry, cry, be sad, but you cannot give up - life is not over and you need to move forward. Having coped with such a life crisis, a person becomes stronger, and in the future it will be easier to survive the shock.

What else can help? It is advisable to recall not only the event that caused the recent shock, but also previous crises in life when something like this happened. What resources did you manage to cope with stress? Who was there? How did you overcome the previous crisis states - perhaps you did nothing and rested for several months, tried to distract yourself, or, conversely, filled all your free time with your favorite pastime? It is important to understand that if I have experienced a previous shock, then I can do it now.

Life is full of crises, big and small. They happen regularly, and people are often in crisis all their lives, not suspecting that they can live differently. There is no need to be afraid of crises, they are like signal lights indicating that the time has come for changes, without which a full life is impossible. But what kind of changes is already a question for each of us personally, and we must answer it ourselves without help and advice. The crisis suggests that the time has come to stop, look back, carefully assess the present and redefine the future. The crisis is an impetus for further growth. It is difficult to survive this state, but it is quite possible.
