Working with negative attitudes. NLP Technique
1. To begin with, we will form a list of negative beliefs of a specific person on a specific problem. In our case, these principles are associated with low self-esteem.
For example:
- I'm a freak
- I am worthless, - I am mediocrity, - I'm a worm …
2. Then we work with each belief separately until it is fully worked out - according to the scheme outlined below …
3. Let's arm ourselves with a piece of paper (for each belief on a separate sheet and on a separate work) and divide it with a vertical bar into equal parts.
4. On the left side we write out the initial belief.
5. And then we disclose it in writing through the union "because" until we run out of clarifications of a specific belief …
For example:
- I'm a freak because I don't consider myself beautiful;
- I am a freak because I am not very attractive to others;
- I'm a freak, because I know about it from childhood …
6. On the right side of the sheet we write out counterbehavior - in a positive, healthy way.
For example: I am a cute creature, attractive, sweet personality.
7. And then - we reveal a positive belief, through the same clarifying union …
For instance:
- I am a pretty creature, because there are people who really, really like me;
- I am a cute creature, because I attract children;
- I am a pretty creature, because I broadcast good energy;
- I am a pretty creature, because they smile at me in response …
Write until you run out! But with an important addition!
There should be 3-4-5 more arguments in favor of counter-movement.
8. And now - checking the completed assignment.
We turn to the first column and read the conviction as the question: "Am I a freak?"
If your answer is clear and clear: "No", we turn to the right column and read counter-narration as a question …
- "Am I a cute creature?" …
If in response you hear an unambiguous and clear "Yes", you have coped with the task, healed the "sick thought".
If there are no clear answers and you still have doubts, the belief has not been corrected and requires a new, thorough study.
Usually, a few specially allotted hours are enough to correct one, specific belief.
Dealing with emotional patterns of behavior
And here it is enough to "decode" the unsuccessful inner child, replacing his "complexes" with stability and self-confidence.
How to do it? Through special practices for working with the inner baby.
Do you remember the well-known idea that the World is a conditional Mom, as you accepted it, you keep holding on? So - the primary "hands" need to be slightly corrected, warming up and loving your inner child.
