Children with enthusiasm play the living dead. The assortment of zombie toys is catching up with blonde barbies in popularity, and Tim Burton's epic cartoons are drowning in Lethe. They were replaced by colorful cartoon zombies for the little ones. Gourmet horror stories have become a mas-market. Zombie parades in major cities around the world are a vivid illustration of this.

In our world of devalued life, where instead of wisdom, people focus on youth, beauty and sex - zombies embody the merciless fear of death.

The simplest thing to do with a strong experience is to devalue it, turn it into a TV series or a doll. Even a child today is not afraid to play with death. She is colorful, in beautiful clothes, lures the consumer.

The less a person is able to truly live, feel, dream, be realized, the more he is afraid of death. Unbridled fear oozes from all areas of our lives. Intimacy ceased to be such when sex got out of bed of two people and became a social sign of success. Promiscuity - not a term, but a way of life.

Obsession with youth, lengthens the queues at the table for plastic surgeons and cosmetologists. Cropped faces and inflated priests, shouting instead of transparencies - we will never die!

Zombies are just the wrong side of our culture. Today she is obsessed with eternal youth and quantitative sex.

The existential conflict between the desire to continue life and the inevitability of death controls people. The confrontation with death is always accompanied by intense fear.

The zombie game unfolds to face imminent death and collides with reality. Death will all the same absorb and dissolve in itself all living things. But there is hope in the game - zombies can be killed. Deal shortly with death. This is the zombie mania hook.

Another reason to get involved in zombies is the need for equality. Zombies are all the same. For them, it does not matter who the living dead was before, a millionaire or a housewife. Any zombie is capable of turning the head of state into an equal with just one bite of a rotten jaw. In our polar world, this adds to the popularity of zombie culture.

Before death, everyone is equal. This is how the slogan of the zombie parade could sound. This kind of movement is gaining momentum. Nine such zombie parades have already taken place in Kiev. We are zombies. This makes us equal in society and in front of an old woman with a scythe. Maybe being afraid together is not so scary?

No one can say better than Irvin Yalom about the fear of death: We must boldly face inevitable death, get used to it, analyze it, perhaps argue - and get rid of the distorted children's ideas about death, which cause fear in us.
