Paranoid character
Paranoid people are usually suspicious, painfully resentful, and vengeful. At the same time, they are persistent in achieving goals, they are very efficient and know how to captivate everyone with their example. They need to dominate, so they strive to organize all the activities around, not caring too much about the opinions of others and ascribing all the merits to themselves.
They can achieve a lot in the professional field thanks to perseverance, systematicness, accuracy and pedantry. They can devote their lives to serving one cause, some idea that captivates them strongly.
Paranoid temperament is formed in families where children face incessant criticism, groundless punishment and humiliation. It is impossible to please such parents - any achievement of the child seems to them insufficient, in any action, deed, manifestation there is something to devalue. Overwhelmed with anxiety, they convey to the child the idea of the world as a very dangerous place. The installation is often broadcast that you cannot trust anyone, only family members.
Personal qualities that he considers unacceptable, the paranoid person does not notice in himself, but he sees them in those around him. That is, it gets rid of them using projection. I'm not envious, but everyone around is envious. Or maybe I'm not aggressive, but everyone around me is trying to attack me. The faces of the projection are slightly provoked so that they seem to match the projected. The mechanism of the projection is clearly visible on the example of a person sitting in a house with mirrored walls. Wherever he looks, it seems to him that he sees through the glass the world, while in reality only rejected particles of his personality appear before him.
Chronic anxiety is characteristic of paranoid individuals. They never feel completely safe and are constantly in a state of heightened vigilance, looking closely at threats from outside. They are prone to all sorts of chemical addictions, since, unable to withstand constant stress, they try to reduce it with the help of alcohol and drugs.
Friendship or friendship is understood as cooperation with someone in an activity against someone else. Not capable of teamwork. They have a very specific sense of humor. They do not miss an opportunity to emphasize the mistakes of others, even exaggerating them somewhat. Thus, they are trying to form a negative self-image in the interlocutor, against which a person with a paranoid character will look better. As a result, an atmosphere of awkwardness and tension is formed around paranoid individuals. Others try to avoid communication with them, which leads to social isolation.
At the center of the experiences of a paranoid person is always only his own personality, everything else is of little interest to him. They consider their picture of the world to be the only correct one and try to impose it on those around them. Objections, disagreement with their point of view, react with anger.
In love relationships, they usually avoid manifestations of romance, behave emotionally coldly, and are prone to rude sexual humor. Extremely jealous, even with no reason. Internally, this hides a pronounced anxiety and fear of sexual inadequacy.
They are very conflicted - in every little thing, in every act, they see an insult to their personality, a violation of their rights. And they immediately turn into an attack, reflecting imaginary grievances. They tend to get stuck in negative emotions - they hold them for a long time, they cannot switch.
The result of this eternal struggle with windmills may be an unlived, passing life, unrealized personal potential, ruined relationships. Being in the present, understanding which threats are real and which are contrived is an important skill that people with a paranoid disposition should develop.
