What destroys the protective mental mechanisms of the body? First of all, negative emotions that are repressed or suppressed consciously or unconsciously by a person. The most destructive of these emotions are: anger (resentment), fear, guilt, shame, grief. This thesis has been proven by science and does not require special explanation
Today the world is talking about cancer.
Why does such a process as cell division and multiplication become the cause of a terrible disease? After all, nature conceived it as a process of creation, with the help of which the body grows, develops, and flourishes. Why does he bring death?
It is known that this process becomes pathological only when cell division goes out of control of the body due to a violation of its defenses.
What destroys defense mechanisms? First of all, negative emotions that are repressed or suppressed consciously or unconsciously by a person. The most destructive of these emotions are: anger (resentment), fear, guilt, shame, grief. This thesis has been proven by science and does not require special explanation.
The question is different. What to do about it? After all, even children get cancer and every year their number only grows.
How can a psychologist and psychotherapist help a cancer patient? And most importantly, how can the appearance of malignant tumors be prevented?
Of course, in the case of revealing the process of the formation of a malignant tumor, the work is based on conflict-centered therapy, which should be based on certain steps.
1. Stabilize your physical condition. This function is assumed not only by traditional chemotherapy, but also by psychotherapy. It is necessary to focus on relaxation techniques, proper nutrition, the use of methods of energy recovery of the body.
2. Work through a stressful situationby analyzing the factors that have traumatically affected the client for a long time at work and at home. Get rid of psychological blocks (work through repressed and suppressed negative emotions: anger (resentment), fear, guilt, shame, grief, etc.).
3. Overcome the social isolation of the patient, set him up to communicate with a partner, family, children.
4. Overcome hopelessness and fear of the future with the help of actualization of questions about the meaning of life. Strengthen the client's internal mental defense mechanisms by overcoming the victim archetype. Change the client's view of illness as punishment, focusing on hope and love.
One thing is obvious - the main reason for the appearance in the human body of cells that multiply uncontrollably and are isolated from the whole body is a violation of the protective mental forces of the body.
Of course, every psychologist or psychotherapist uses their own professional methods of dealing with repressed or repressed emotions. We are different and that's great.
But, given the growth in the number of cancer patients, especially children in Ukraine, it is indisputable that it is necessary to unite specialists around psychological education about the destructive power of negative emotions and methods of their leveling.
I sincerely ask all colleagues to write more about this.
Thanks.
I wish you love.

Resentment. What It Is? Why Is Resentment And How To Deal With It?
Feeling and emotion are often used synonymously and are characterized as a psychological process that reflects a subjective evaluative attitude towards existing or possible situations. Guilt And Resentment. Resentment And Guilt. Two Sides Of The Same Coin
Why did I suddenly combine such different, polar feelings into one topic? That is why - they live in a bundle - where there is guilt, there is also resentment. And vice versa. But one of them, as a rule, we do not notice in ourselves. If we are offended, then we do not talk about our guilt, we "

Anger, Anger, Resentment And Revenge. Where Do Parents Get Their Negativity From?
Anger is one of the basic, that is, innate emotions, the essence of which is, firstly, to signal that my boundaries are somehow not just violated, but harshly violated, and, secondly, to react to this intrusion. It takes a lot of energy to fight back, that's why anger is so strongly “charged”, it excites or “triggers” the sympathetic nervous system, forcing the heart to beat faster, quickens breathing, and mobilizes all the forces of the body.
It's A Shame And Scary Not To Be Perfect. Where Does This Fear And Shame Come From And How To Help Yourself
During the New Year holidays I had a desire to write a post about my impressions of the film "Hare over the Abyss". I began to write it. I wrote.
