Useful Technique If You Are Sick Or About Psychosomatics. Part 2

In this article, I continue the topic of psychosomatics and want to share with you the techniques that are recommended for use in chronic acute pain / illness, that is, in the deep stages of psychosomatics (about this in the previous article). They can also be used for headaches and toothaches.

Breathing technique

Sit comfortably. If it is difficult to sit, as with a severe headache, then you can lie down. Take a few slow, deep breaths (7-8). Then continue to breathe in the same rhythm and observe your breathing as if nothing else exists except it now, but there is only inhalation and exhalation. Breathe for 2-3 minutes.

Then run your mind's eye over the body. Then pay attention to your symptom / pain. Breathe into it. Keep it in mind and take every breath as if into it. Breathe in light, relaxation, breathe out tension. Visualize this process.

Notice how the tension goes away with each exhalation.

Scissors technique

In this technique, you will need a piece of paper, pencils, and scissors.

Do the breathing preparation as in the technique above. Then draw your problem on a piece of paper in the form of a ball of tangled threads (you can simply unconsciously scribble on a piece of paper, connecting with the pain, as if crossing it out, releasing it onto a piece of paper).

When you finish, when you feel that everything is laid out, give her a name, you can even write below under the picture. Then draw yourself on another piece of paper. If you want, you can do two images in one drawing, but so that the pain is on the right and you are on the left. It is important to listen to yourself … as you wish. In addition, you can generally draw how the pain enmeshes you.

Then, when the drawing is ready, grab a pair of scissors and cut away your pain. You can simply cut it off, or you can cut it into small pieces or even tear it apart, saying some words.

If you drew yourself entangled, then you can correct the drawing by completing something constructive. Or redraw yourself without pain, with something pleasant or useful.

Technique "Broom"

In this technique, you will need a sheet of paper, a pen, and drawing supplies (pencils, markers, pens).

Do the breathing preparation as in the first technique. And while running through the body, stop at the sore spot. Then take a close look at the sore area. Imagine there is a pile of rubbish lying there. Consider it.

Then take a piece of paper and draw a broom. Take a sheet of paper and write on behalf of the broom (I am a broom, I am such and such … I can do this and that, I clean up the garbage …), write whatever comes to mind.

Make an appeal to the diseased organ.

For example, with sick kidneys, you must first imagine them, breathe in them. Then draw a broom or yourself sweeping out the disease. Then, in writing, mentally or aloud, you need to say an example text: “Pain, leave my kidneys, I will sweep you out of them, leave and never come back. My kidneys are getting healthier, they are cleared!"

Erase Pain Technique

In this technique, you will need a piece of paper, a pencil, and an eraser.

Connect with your pain. Then take a pencil of the color with which you associate this pain.

Take a piece of paper and draw your pain. It can be a spontaneous stream of scribbles or quite a large and fat blot. Draw until you feel a sense of satisfaction, completeness. Trust yourself and your imagination.

Then, when the drawing is finished, take an eraser in your hands and start erasing what you have drawn, saying words like leave the pain, my organs are cleansed, become healthier, etc. Say everything that spontaneously comes to mind.
