Our personal relationship with life shows us that hardship and suffering are a feature of the real world. The real world is made up of work, pesky husbands and wives and children buzzing in the ear. But the most important and unbearable element of the real world is the inner world: voice, thoughts and emotions.

What is the most common query with the word “emotion”? Just listen! How to control emotions. How to get rid of negative emotions. With the spread of spiritual currents and meditation - how to transcend emotions and soar into the absolute.

All these searches are united by the idea: life is hard. Life is full of stress (which is really hard to argue with). Deep down, we feel resentful, deprived and powerless. It is only natural that the alternative reality created by the entertainment industry takes over a person who is preoccupied with the hardships of survival.

What happens to the car if you stop taking care of it?

Its motor will eventually fail, the bottom will rust, and it will become completely impossible to drive. We understand that in order to enjoy your machine, you must maintain its well-being. At the same time, we view real life as something that does not need attention and care. We want to quickly return to the world of entertainment, seeing it as a reward for our suffering. However, there is a danger here: depriving care of the quality of real life, we slide into the worlds of the superficial and invented. Here it is easier to maintain the illusion of joy through the illusion of control over emotions, experiencing the feelings that you want to experience. If you like the video - you swipe up, if you don't like it - down. And so it gives pleasure, so excites the instinct of seeking instant pleasure, that the highest human abilities, such as intellect, awareness of one's Self and divinity, unity with nature and service to all living beings, atrophy by non-use.

The possibility of creating an interesting, harmonious life, filled with calmness, love and meaning, seems to many of us beyond. However, I don't think we'll go back to macaques again. Rather, this period is needed so that we realize that we are all just wildly tired. And instead of siphoning money out of others, milking the last out of each other's instinctive nature, we are meant to see what is joy of higher quality.

Why do we still not see them?

Because at the level of the state, TV and radio broadcasting channels, no one told us about them. The highest quality information that arouses curiosity and invites you to meet the mysteries of the universe has to be searched for on your own, and even then - it is found in poorly viewed and sparsely liked sources.

The deplorable standard of living of the majority of our fellow citizens makes them give priority to the issues of survival. Spiritual seekers stand out from the poor masses: they strive to get around the fear of uncertainty and precariousness of their position, relying on the emptiness and neutrality of the Absolute. Although for some, the materiality of aspirations really testifies to the impoverishment of the spirit, for the majority of seekers, chattering the mind with lofty truths is nothing more than a mechanism of psychological defense.

Somehow I really don't want to think that for representatives of a mighty, majestic species of Man, the highest pleasure is to play stupid videos!
