Good or bad mood directly depends on our thoughts. Moreover, both conscious and unconscious.
The classic said: "We are not responsible for what we hear, but we are responsible for the interpretation of what we hear." Different interpretations of the same event can evoke completely different emotions.
Example.
Imagine that you have come to a new job on the first day. You were introduced to the entire team and a colleague with whom you have to sit in the same office and work on the same task.
Let's call him Ivan. Ivan never looked at you, and constantly ignored you. What thoughts arise in our head?
Option number 1 "Yes, he has no idea about upbringing, he insults me with his ignorance, stupid attempts not to pay attention to me." As a rule, after such a stream of thoughts, we feel - anger.
Option number 2 “Maybe I’m just not interesting, Ivan as an interlocutor, and he doesn’t want to communicate with me, I act on all my colleagues in about the same way, and at my previous job people avoided me”. This interpretation very often causes - sadness
Option number 3 "Perhaps Ivan is shy, and it is not easy for him to immediately get in touch with strangers" This thought is likely to cause - sympathy.
Depending on our inner beliefs, the same thought can trigger different emotions. Emotions directly affect our behavior and its consequences.
For example, if you are walking down the street and said hello to an old friend, but he did not answer.
Someone, relying on inner convictions, thinks: "Here, Fedor opened his own business, and does not even greet his old friends, well, I remember him."
The thought comes to another person: "Fyodor is probably thinking about something of his own, and he simply did not notice me, it's okay, it happens."
It is very important to keep track of your thoughts, to understand how and when, one or another of your thoughts led to an improvement or deterioration in mood.

What is affirmation? Affirmation is a short statement phrase that, when repeated many times, fixes the required image or setting in the subconscious of a person. Affirmations use the power of positive thinking to help us achieve our goals and are like little reminders within ourselves.
