Success, goals, achievements - these words are found everywhere in the modern world. For an intelligent, educated, developing person, it is in the order of things to strive for success, set new goals for himself and persistently achieve them.
But what if you are also just as smart and developing, but the concepts of setting goals, overcoming, achieving for some reason do not warm your soul, but on the contrary - they drive you into a stupor and generally prevent you from taking even a step forward?
To understand this issue, I propose to conditionally divide people into two types.
The first type: human climbers. These are people who really get great pleasure from conquering the next summit of life. These people climb the ladder of success and the wings behind them grow more and more with each step taken. To help such people, a lot of trainings, master classes have been created, many books have been written on how to help them go towards their dreams. Goal setting, coaching, etc. - just take it and do it!
But what if such a life scenario is not for everyone? After all, there are other people who for some reason do not run headlong from goal to goal, but as if contemplating the world around them, being in some kind of meditative state of inaction (seeming). And these people are also smart, educated, they are happy to engage in self-development, and day after day they achieve some invisible inner goals.
Who are these people and how can you help them fulfill their dreams?
Let's call them puzzle people.
The life path of such people will not look like climbing a mountain or a staircase, but rather a plain, an infinitely expanding space in all directions from them. And they do not move forward, but as if in a spiral, gradually covering more and more space around them. And walking along their own path, trying one thing or another, living all new experiences, these people seem to try each action on themselves. They apply each new experience to their hearts, trying to feel whether this piece of the puzzle fits the unique structure of their personality, whether it is not out of the general picture, whether it is part of the harmony that puzzle people strive for
And now we come to the main idea: the most important goal for a puzzle person is to find inner harmony, an inner feeling of happiness
And the concept of success for such a person does not lie in external achievements, but in harmony with himself and the outside world. If you recognize yourself as a puzzle person and strive for your own goals, which are important for your harmony, you can use these tips, I hope they will help you:
1. Trust your feelings. When you are about to take on a new business (new project, job change, business, etc.), refer to your inner feelings. Your body and your subconscious mind know the answers to all questions. Close your eyes, focus and mentally ask yourself the question: "Should I be doing this?" If the body responds with pleasant sensations, warmth inside, a slight tremor of anticipation, then the answer is definitely positive. If there is no response from the body or the sensation is unpleasant, then this is not what you want.
2. Don't look at or imitate others. For someone to be happy, you need to achieve a high position in the company or deal with five projects at the same time. And for someone it is enough to grow a beautiful garden near their home. And the one who grew this garden can be considered as successful as the director of the bank. Unless, of course, this person for inner harmony does not need as much money on the account as the director has.
3. Be confident in the correctness of your path. If you have not yet reached your inner heights, have not completed all the pieces of the puzzle of your unique personality - rejoice! You have tons of unique opportunities ahead. Opportunities for knowing yourself and the world around you. Opportunities to find ways to your harmony. Don't be led astray by common goals that may not work for you at all. Be yourself.
In conclusion, I want to say: what matters is not how fast you move forward, but what you move.
