Answer:

It is generally accepted that psychosomatics is a reflection of emotional experiences at the level of the body.

I assume that unconsciously you are punishing yourself for showing anger.

Knowing you and from my own experience, I want to note that psychotherapy with spiritual practitioners is more difficult (the reasons are given below).

In the Gestalt approach, your doom is a retroflection - an inner conflict of beliefs and needs.

The body of a person shows the conflict that is happening in his soul. At the beginning of working with a problem, a psychologist helps to find a formed stereotype (introject) of the type - "It is bad to be angry", - "Good girls are not angry", - "This is pride", - "God will punish!" … Usually, a person takes these phrases as a basis in behavior from significant persons: mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, educators, teachers, gurus … Instructions replace values for a person without their own comprehension, experience and verification of the internal response in the body - mine, - not mine - How do I feel after doing a certain way?

Often the message of a significant person, like an alien seed, gives - mutated fruits in the form of thoughts, speech, behavior - a kind person. People around them habitually expect the support of a kind enlightened personality, without the right to fatigue, their own boundaries.

But the soul is unique, as if it pushes out an alien experience and forces a person to his own path of development. At the physical level, this protest often manifests itself as nausea, belching, vomiting, a lump in the throat, or chest pain, other manifestations of the body … The body, as if screaming to the consciousness - turn your attention! If you don’t understand the reason and don’t change, we will die!

And here Gestalt therapy methods are extremely useful. They will help to notice in time unconscious mechanisms of escape from reality (for example, deflection) and clarify the reason for this. It is quite possible that from getting to know your inner world you will be shocked! There, most likely, there are demons))) - those subpersonalities that you did not notice or suppressed, tormented by spiritual practices.

Also, spiritually practitioners may have to go through an existential conflict - a way out of the merger and the formation of their own scale of values. Usually, a confession or religion replaces the parental figure, and therefore it is more difficult to survive the separation, after all, it’s like getting angry with God, moreover, even having a fight with him! I just want to reassure you, confession or religion is not God. Often this is just a business, a trade in spiritual knowledge, but in principle it is a very heavy karma))).

God will certainly not leave you, his love for you is unconditional - it is air, water, sun, earth … and he will not deprive you of this.

The fire of anger is necessary for the exit from the merger and the formation of primary autonomy.

Small test.

If you gave vent to your anger, how would you show it?…. An image appeared? For religious people, it can be merging with the wrath of God - hurricane, lightning….

Try to play it like in a play, experience it in motion, let your body enjoy it. (I warn you that in reality you cannot do what you can live by entering the role). Then feel how to be this character.

In life, choose for yourself a reasonable way of expressing anger using the resource that you have mastered as a result of the action in the play.

For example: There is a need for personal space.

1. You can shout that everyone has got it - this drain of tension is unlikely to lead to the satisfaction of the need.

The outburst of anger will create tension in the relationship, and your heat will subside only for a while.

2. If you ask loved ones to knock on your room and explain why it is important for you, then there is a chance that they will hear you and respect your request.

Over time, you will feel the joy of the result. Not only will this be your inner victory, that you have taken care of yourself - you have organized a comfort zone for yourself, built territorial boundaries, but you also began to love your loved ones more.
