Do you know why we believe that working with a psychologist is just talk, and all sorts of exercises, but no real results?

Because:

but. We are not used to noticing them

b. (coming from a) They are visible from a distance

We are constantly changing, every day, brick by brick. Every new person, event contributes to us - and we are born a new person every morning.

But.

We have a poorly developed skill of observing (and, for that matter, caring) about our psychological health.

You can blame the parents, the Union, and the untimely landing on the pot, as Brodsky said. And you can start developing this skill in yourself.

Let's use everyday examples, I love them)

Cars.

I practically do not know my way around in cars. I know why they are, and that there are different brands. This is where my knowledge ends. And if a car passes in front of me, I don't even notice which one, except for the "red" one.

But if I start to study this topic, then over time, I will understand what brands there are. And then I will learn to distinguish between them. And then - to distinguish between the models. And then understand their advantages and disadvantages.

The more I study this topic, the more nuances I will see, and the more it will become integrated into my life.

So with the skill of introspection - the same thing. And the more it is developed (the more often we practice it), the more attentive we become to the minor changes that occur in us every day

Because big results are a bunch of small changes. But we do not notice them until we see a material result that we can feel.

But not everyone will reach this result yet. Because "lack of results" demotivates and devalues the work done.

And the trick is that "lack of result" is often the inability to see it

And by the way, working with a psychologist develops this skill in parallel with the main request.

So two birds with one stone!:)
