The main secret in a successful interview, in my opinion, is CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF AND YOUR STRENGTHS

Interview - this is the moment of sale, you are selling yourself to the employer. You need to believe in the product you are selling and love it for the sale to take place. If these conditions exist, you will always successfully sell any product.

So:

- Believe in yourself

- self-love

- MODERATE self-praise … Excessive praise causes rejection in the employer. It is important to observe the boundaries of decency here.

In addition, even if during the interview you understand that you are incompetent (or there is a lack of experience) in some questions regarding the vacancy for which you are applying, then you should not be shy and lost here either.

For yourself, you must be sure that you will be able to master the missing skills within a certain period of time, that you have the potential and desire to quickly learn and fully master the required professional qualities - this is quite enough for an HR specialist to be able to draw up about you positive presentation.

The second most important moment of a successful interview: POSITIVE ADJUSTMENT.

I am talking about this both from the point of view of the person who hired the employees and from the point of view of the employee.

If you don't really want to get to the proposed vacancy, but go to the interview rather for the sake of a tick, or you just need money, then subconsciously you will broadcast such an attitude to the employer and, quite possibly, you will be given your phrases that cannot always be controlled.

But also do not place too high hopes on the vacancy offered to you. You should not dissolve in the maelstrom of happiness in front of the employer from the desire to get this vacancy.

Find a middle ground: joyfully, easily, with self-confidence, show at the interview that you are a competent and worthy specialist.

The third important point: application GIVING TECHNIQUES.

The technique consists in mentally giving a gift to the person with whom you need to interact.

For example, you are in a place where people with a rather negative attitude work, and you need to ask this person for something. You include goodwill and a positive attitude and mentally give this person a gift, what he might want, according to your ideas…. Can you imagine how happy he is with your gesture, how he enjoys the gift, how his face lights up with a smile …

This technique works very well on an intuitive level, plus your benevolent attitude - the person relaxes, then communication with him becomes more pleasant and productive. We apply the same thing in the interview, therefore, it will be easier for you to win over the interlocutor.

Remember, it is very important to remain open and honest.

We love to embellish or hide any negative aspects of our work history. This cannot be done. Falseness is always felt by professional HR specialists, or as a result, it pops up sooner or later.

It doesn't matter to an employer that you have a perfect work history. It is much more pleasant for him to hear the truth. This is one of the key indicators of your reliability for the company.

Moreover, an honest story about troubles in past jobs highlights your personality very well: how you manifest yourself in certain situations, do you have leadership qualities or do you tend to merge with the general mass, can you express your own opinion and under what circumstances, your creativity and so on.

It is much more pleasant for the employer to analyze these situations with you and, perhaps, to do so in order to reduce the likelihood of their recurrence, than later discover your lie, when it may be too late to change something. It is on such truthful, albeit not very beautiful stories that it is easiest to see the potential of a person. You may receive provocative questions from HR in this case … don't be surprised. They are aimed at helping you to open up, rather than to put pressure on you or reveal your lack of professionalism.

The last important point is the acquisition of interview skills.

It is useful to do this not only when you are looking for a job, but also when it comes to the understanding that you have stayed too long at your current place of work, and there was a desire to change it. Maybe look at yourself from the outside and assess your value in the market, assess your capabilities.

You should send your resume to the vacancies that seemed interesting to you and go to interviews, just even in order to also probe the situation on the market and how you fit into it. I assure you, you will find many interesting things for yourself and, plus, you will also acquire the skill of effectively passing an interview.

In addition, the chance of finding a truly dream job increases significantly, because you will go to interviews without headlong, wanting to urgently find something, because you need money, but:

1. To practice in developing the skill of passing interviews.

2. The search will take place in a calm and therefore conscious mode. This has a positive effect on the interview process and increases your chances of getting any job.
