I often hear from my parents that ADHD should not be treated, it will go away by itself. It happens so, but it also happens in another way.
Here is Ivan. He is 30. He lives with his parents. Ivan has not worked anywhere for more than 6 months, he is fired. For absenteeism and delays, for missed reporting deadlines, for numerous errors in projects, for hovering in the clouds. If the management hesitates, Ivan quits himself. He gets tired of this job. Despite the appearance of a Hollywood actor, Ivan is not married. Girls disappear quickly and without a trace. He himself cannot understand why and where. He has no friends either. Ivan does exercises in the morning, and spends the rest of the day on the Internet. Is reading. Trying to learn.
Here's another client. At a reception with my mother. They arranged him at a university, failed the first session, and did not appear at the institute again. Every evening she plans to go to lectures tomorrow. Gamer. He plays all night, sleeps all day. The cycle repeats itself. While he sleeps, his mother quietly sneaks into his room and collects rubbish from the table.
There is a girl in the office. I was late, forgot my bag in the taxi. He talks a lot and is confused. Does not keep the thread of the conversation, is distracted by the noise outside the window, enthusiastically examines the picture on the wall. Clutter in thought, clutter in life.
And these are simple cases.
ADHD changes its structure with age. Most often, hyperactivity goes away, but other signs of ADHD strengthen.
Can't control time
A moment lasts for eternity, and eternity lasts for a moment. It seems that he has just sat down at the computer; that 20 minutes is enough to get to work; that Friday was yesterday. At the same time, I am sure that reports should be submitted in a month; that the mother-in-law's birthday is in six months.
Can't plan
Because of this, he does everything at the wrong time. All day looking out the window, and in the evening decide to drill a couple of holes in the wall? Oh, do you have such a neighbor ?! Show compassion, because he is sick! Neither the police nor tapping back on the batteries will help, because a person with the syndrome …
does not see cause - effect relationships
In his picture of the world, you knock because you wanted to knock. At least he does just that: he does what he wants.
Lives on impulses
Here the lady saw a dress in the window. Impulse - and the purchase is done. Unnecessary and expensive. There will be no money until the end of the month, but now she does not think about it.
Doesn't know the word "must"
From the outside it may seem that these are weak-willed people, without self-control … to a certain extent, this is so. If a person with ADHD is passionate about something, then he cannot force himself to stop with a volitional effort. If some business does not promise him immediate pleasure, he cannot bring himself to do it. A person with the syndrome will not stretch the pleasure of his favorite TV show for a week, he will watch everything at once! Don't give a damn about tomorrow! But to wash the dishes after dinner - no, you will not wait.
Forgetful, absent-minded, inattentive. No comments
There are many adults with ADHD. Perhaps you recognized in the description of someone. Sometimes people themselves don't know they have ADHD. But it’s a pity, when this fact is known, my problems are a consequence of the parental "maybe". Treat ADHD in children on time.

Why Do Women Marry Someone They Don't Like?
Each person wants to see next to him the one he will love. There are of course exceptions - marriages of convenience, but that's a completely different story. But in reality, one often has to deal with situations when a person acts as a life partner, whom a woman cannot call her own.
