In the modern world, we are seeing changes in both male and female functions. Men have become more feminine, infantile and passive. They stopped taking responsibility for themselves and their families. For women, being successful and socially active becomes more important, and family and children are relegated to the background

The following situation is found in men.

This is, of course, related to childhood and growing up. When a boy is born, his mother takes care of him and takes care of him. The psychological task of the father at this moment is to help maintain this balance - the child-mother. As he grows up, the dad's function changes. When the child turns one year old, the father needs to switch the mother's attention from the child to himself, so that the mother does not swallow his son with overprotection and suppress his freedom, making him passive. After all freedom is an opportunity in the future to be creative in activities and active in relationships with a woman, i.e. not only to accept love, but also to give it.

When a boy ends up in kindergarten, he again falls under the female caregiver and often quite suppressive. Passivity is increasing. In school, the same teacher as the rules of the woman and the pressure from the women continues. And thus, the institution of initiation - transformation into a man, male full-fledged maturation does not occur. Therefore, a man remains infantile and not mature sometimes for life. On the other hand, the army can be called such an institution of initiation, but not everyone gets there and does not always pass it successfully.

As for women, many modern women have abandoned femininity and embarked on the path of competition with men. Hence, gynecological problems, difficulties with pregnancy, or generally rejection of motherhood and marriage as such. With all the external beauty, grooming, taking care of the body in fitness and the soul in yoga, women are surprised that there is no suitable life partner for them. And how can he be found when she is more successful in business than him.

A similar situation also stems from childhood. Even Freud wrote that such a woman is basically envious of a man on an unconscious level, because he has what she does not have. He called it "penis envy", which symbolizes success, strength, will, activity, etc. Such a woman unconsciously joins in a rivalry that is unusual for her. It all starts from the moment when a little girl, disappointed in her mother, because she cannot give her satisfaction in needs, switches to dad. She creates God and an idol out of him. By idealizing him, she thinks that if she were a boy, her life would be much better. At this moment, the rejection of femininity and the exaltation of all masculine take place. The woman who managed to find a man and marry him, give birth to a child, after a while begins to experience depression and longing for that former life, filled with active competition and struggle for a place in the sun and, most importantly, the attention of other men.

There are three options for the development of events.

In the first version, she is disappointed and begins her search anew, not realizing that history will repeat itself.

The second - suppresses her desires and then she has various somatic diseases, especially the problems of the female sphere are very common.

The third most favorable - a woman is creatively realized, finds employment, being distracted from the family. However, the feeling of dissatisfaction still haunts with all these three options.

In the process of life, the correction of such situations in both women and men is quite possible. There are various psychotherapeutic methods. For example, psychoanalysis can help resolve many characterological disorders, including those described above.
