FIVE DANGEROUS ATTITUDES OF POSITIVE THINKING.

Here are some attitudes that many people believe in, but that don't make them happier.

1.. "I want and will be"

such a position is aimed at maintaining a child's attitude towards life in a person, this is an excuse for his infantilism and an attempt to keep him from growing up and maturity, maintaining the unconditional intrinsic value of desires and devaluing responsibility. We are not in kindergarten, and not everything in life is the way we want it right now.

2. "As soon as you want, you can fly into space"

It is believed that if you dream well on the growing moon, then the Universe itself will present everything you want on a silver platter. However, few people think that it is not enough to dream, it is also necessary to do it.

3. "If you want to do well - do it yourself"

Responsibility is, of course, good, but in moderation. You can and should take responsibility only for yourself and your life, for your actions, for what you can control. Life also consists of many circumstances that we cannot influence. And if we gnaw ourselves for every such circumstance, then we can earn a neurosis.

4. "Whatever happens - smile"

There is nothing superfluous in the human psyche, and the division of feelings into "good and bad" accepted in everyday life is the result of our evaluative consciousness. For the psyche as a system, each feeling is necessary and performs an important function. For example, anger and aggression are needed to compete, advance your interests, defend your desires, ideas, and beliefs, and protect your personal boundaries.

5. "There are no unsolvable problems"

There are unsolvable problems! And there are a lot of them. And in our life in general, and in psychotherapy in particular. Psychotherapy can really do a lot, but not everything! We are not omnipotent. And this is reality. And if we do not accept this reality, then we support the distorted reality, support the illusions about reality, actively and persistently created and imposed on our consciousness by positive psychology.
