In a beautiful carriage, with a crown on his head, the king rode for a walk. But, suddenly, a wasp flew into the horse's ear, and the horse carried away. The carriage capsized, the king fell into the ditch, the crown flew to the side.
The frustrated coachman picked up the crown, wiped it off with his sleeve, and apologized to the king, but the angry king beat the coachman in anger.
Meanwhile, the coachman's wife was cooking porridge. Putting the pot of porridge in the stove, she went to the mirror and began to look with sadness at her old, faded, leaky handkerchief. While she was doing this, the porridge in the stove burned.
Meanwhile, the angry, upset coachman returned home. The wife put the porridge in front of him. The coachman tasted it, spat, threw it at his wife with a spoon, and threw the pot of porridge out the window. The wife went out into the yard to see if her new pot was broken or not.
In the courtyard, the dog Druzhok was eating porridge. He, thinking that it was the hostess who treated him to porridge, went up to her and wanted to lick her hand in gratitude. But the mistress, offended by her husband, hit the dog. The dog whined in pain and rushed out of the yard. On the way, he came across a cat. The angry dog grabbed the cat by the tail and pulled. The cat, distraught with pain, barely escaped and rushed into the field.
And in the field, in the mink, a mother mouse was sitting and telling her mice: "Children, do not protrude out of the mink, otherwise a cat is walking in the field and he may eat you." One curious little mouse did not obey its mother, leaned out of the hole, and at that time the cat grabbed it and ate it. The frustrated mouse gathered her mice and took them for a walk. They found a hornet's nest and ravaged it. The surviving wasps, seeing nothing in front of them, flew in different directions from grief. One flew into the horse's ear, the horse carried, the carriage overturned, the king fell into the ditch, the crown flew to the side.
But this was a different king.
When the coachman offered him the crown with an apology, the king said: “Well there! What have you got to do with it? Do not be upset . And the king gave the coachman 100 rubles.
The coachman, walking home, thought: “My wife has a very old shawl, faded. I'll buy her a new one. " He went home and presented it to his wife. My wife tried it on, and said upset: "And my porridge is burnt." To this her husband answered her: "It doesn't matter, give it to Druzhka, but we have sausage in our cellar."
They went down to the cellar and saw that the cat was eating a stick of sausage. The cat was afraid that he would be beaten, was about to run away, but the owner said: "Okay, you scoundrel, eat up the rest."
The hostess carried the pot of porridge out into the street, into the courtyard. The friend, out of joy that they gave him porridge, began to jump, touched the pot, and the pot broke. The hostess said: "Yes, okay, let's buy a new pot!"
Satisfied, well-fed cat decided to take a walk in the field. While walking, he stepped on the paw of a curious little mouse leaning out. The cat said: "I'm sorry, please!" "What really" - answered the mouse, "You don't often meet polite cats."
And in the burrow the mouse - the mother said to her mice: "Children, never ruin hornets' nests" …
