There is a stereotype that everything needs to be earned, that all good things are not easy. "If you suffer for a long time, something will work out." Why is he suffering? Why all good things come with hard work? And, does not a person feel disappointment after he has invested a lot of effort to achieve a result? After all, what should be the result to cover all efforts on the way to it? What if the path was very difficult and extremely painful?

Therefore, the thought arises, already, I confess, not for the first time, about the fact that our desires should not be realized through tension, through difficulties, through inhuman efforts. We do not have to sacrifice ourselves, our interests, personal life or health in order to get what we want, because we will very quickly devalue the result, since we cannot forgive ourselves for the sacrifices we have suffered.

Ease, pleasure in the process, pleasure in action - these are the basic components that will help make the path to the goal energetically filled, interesting and full of life.

The first thing we should do is define our own desires. These desires should truly be ours. It is necessary to make sure that stereotypes, false beliefs, someone's unfulfilled dreams do not sneak under the guise of desires. To do this, you need to listen to your feelings. Hear your real self, allow yourself to be who you are, albeit not entirely comfortable for others, at times angry and aggressive, perhaps even arrogant, but often deeply vulnerable and touchy.

It is possible to feel real yourself if you give yourself the right to be who you are, if you dare to show at least yourself your own emotions, feelings and experiences, without condemnation, without evaluation, without criticism.

After getting to know yourself, you can embark on a journey that would allow you to notice yourself feeling this or that experience. People who have managed to establish contact with their feelings can easily recognize headaches, for example, when they communicate with an unpleasant person, or nausea when they have to perform a meaningless task or apathetic state when they are forced to go to a difficult meeting. With the opportunity to feel, the search for that place, that deed, that desire, which is in fact truly yours, begins.

After a while, it may turn out that the job you are working in actually only brings you trouble, and those false beliefs that you have fed yourself for a long time, in fact, are not working.

Yes, you have to face disappointment, with the collapse of illusions, but this is the path to truth, to finding your true self, to finding your place.

It may turn out that you hate communication with your colleague, with whom you communicated only because it is uncivilized to refuse. It will also come to the surface that you are lying to your mom when you say that her cake is delicious….

Yes, I agree, not the whole truth needs to be told, because it is painful and unpleasant. But the most important thing that you will get is to find out the truth about yourself, about your preferences, about your desires, about your true relationships with others. To tell this truth or not is another question, but believe me, it will be enough to know it for your life to start changing for the better.

So, you are on the path of knowing yourself.

You have determined exactly what you want, or rather, while you are determining what you do not want, since going "from" is easier than going "to".

You realized that working as a librarian, for example, is not about you. In fact, you want to travel. From this moment, changes begin. If this desire is really yours, then it is definitely filled with energy. If it is yours, then, just thinking about the journey, you are filled with different feelings, you wake up and begin to live.

What is the difficulty in leaving the hated job and embarking on a free voyage?

Fear, the limitations that we set for ourselves, self-doubt, a feeling of worthlessness and the thought that you are unworthy of it. It is thoughts of unworthiness that kill all your desires at the root. But after all, if you thought about traveling, if such a thought got into your head, it means that you feel that it is yours - you LIVE, when you think about it, you LIVE. In my opinion, it makes more sense to go for energy than to vegetate in hopeless, boring everyday life.

What does it mean to follow a dream?

It is to see in those circumstances that cannot be changed, that loophole, that path, walking along which you will be happy. After all, it is obvious that we all cannot become, say, boxers, since everyone has different starting positions, different character, different physical characteristics, etc. Yes, we all, by and large, do not need it. Everyone has his own path. Finding it and following it is the main task.

So, how, having determined your path, based on your own true desires, not to deviate from it?

First, you can always match your actions with your feelings. You can always test whether you are going the right way.

Secondly, as soon as you have found that very road, circumstances will be attracted into your life that will help in the realization of your dreams, or rather, you will be able to notice them. If earlier, when you were sitting over books in the library, you did not even notice the events that took place outside this work, now, having determined your desires, you will simply notice them. Your focus will shift.

Therefore, they say that the main thing is to get acquainted with your real desires, the main thing is to find out what exactly is your dream - everything else will happen by itself, you only need to notice the changes that will occur, well, and, of course, in actively participate in them.

Finally, I would like to say the following.

I am not saying that you only need to want something, and everything else will follow, even if you just lie on the couch and spit at the ceiling.

If you do this, then it means one thing: your true desire is to lie on the couch and spit at the ceiling, but in no way be a famous actor, for example, because a famous actor has a slightly different daily routine.

I'm just saying that it is precisely following a real dream that fills you with vital energy, and therefore you become involved in life, it becomes interesting for you to do those actions that you like. In addition, you become attentive to the changes that occur in the world around you, and in time you will be able to recognize the chance that fate offers you. And this is possible only if you know your true desires.
