Often, when communicating with others, it seems to us that everything is so easy and simple with them. Sometimes we find confirmation of this in the form of talents, abilities, living conditions, education, or "their parents helped them." And we forget that any talent, giftedness, etc., can remain in a passive state if they are not developed and not dealt with.

These are, first of all, the daily efforts of a person over himself. And so that you and I learn about such a person and turn to him, this is also work.

We only see the result. And the way? Even if we consciously admit the existence of a certain path, in fact, it is somewhat omitted. We do not know at all how many times a person knocked on doors and did not open them; how many ideas he put aside for later, or completely abandoned them; how often he was compared to others and praised for the talents of others; how much he failed. We do not understand at what stage a person gave up, when he wanted to stop everything and follow the path of least resistance, at what moments he felt hopeless.

We all take this into account, but we do not realize the real work.

What helps you not to give up?

Willpower

belief in yourself and your abilities

outside support (at least by one person)

a certain attitude to various life circumstances

desire to achieve the goal

The whole world may not believe in you, but if at least one person believes, there are already two of you - you and him. The greatest scientists simply followed the inner call. They acted, tried, made mistakes, drew conclusions and again began to act. Who were their accomplices? - Units. The teachers could not stand such students. Families and friends, more often than not, did not understand them. But these people did not give up. We can consider them geniuses, scientists, gifted. However, we also have genius, learning and giftedness. And there is fear in us. We are afraid of not being accepted, not supported, not recognized, ridiculed, discounted. At the same time, upbringing can also influence us, when you need to be like everyone else, not to stand out, not to declare your talents, not to show yourself off, to be more modest, etc.

All of this is blocking our strength and potential. We restrain the inner motor energy. We lose faith in ourselves, and we switch not a wasted resource to the lives of others.

If ideas come to mind, try to implement them. Yes, the path will be difficult, but there will be results. Don't take the path of least resistance, stay where you are while dreaming about creating something new. Don't be shy about your thoughts and emotions. Yes, they may not be suitable for everyone, but they can help many people.

A friend told a very interesting idea - to read biographies of famous people. As you become familiar with their ups and downs, you will be inspired to take action. Moreover, you will know for sure that it was very difficult for them.

I wrote this article and thought about Albert Einstein, Henry Ford, Coco Chanel and Sigmund Freud. How they declared their ideas, opinions, discoveries. How many people supported them, and how many condemned them. What we have today, thanks to the path they have traveled.

Each of us can be both doers and supporters. And it all begins in ourselves …
