So, the third task for Psyche

Psyche had to fill a crystal bottle from a mysterious source, which flowed in a continuous ring from Styx to a tall rock and back. The water of life, the water of creativity and renewal. Another archetypal symbol. Constant movement symbol. Each of us wants to master at least a piece of this creative flow and clothe it in some form of our creation. The desire to create this form is part of a conscious desire to touch archetypal energies, visions, feelings and transform them through your personality. To touch in this way the world of gods and goddesses. This is probably why the bottle is so symbolically fragile, and the task seems impossible again.

Psyche is puzzled again. She looks at the stream that meanders along the side of the mountain. It falls directly into the Styx River and then, in an incomprehensible way, rises through the forest thickets again to the very top of the mountain and again makes its way through the rocks. And as all this is not enough for you, the source is guarded by a dragon, which announces the surrounding area with cries of "Get out! Get out of here!" And the water itself seems to emit a vicious hiss. Psyche again in despair "This is too much! I can not." And, of course, a new symbol comes to her aid.

In the third task, the eagle of Zeus helps her. If we take Zeus as an archetype, then this is the master of the world. By far the coolest pepper in this glade. General Director of All Olympus. He always has lightning with him. Slightly wrong - keep the punishment from heaven. His symbol, the eagle, can see everything he wants from a great height, throw himself with lightning and grab what he wants with tenacious claws. This ability to see the big picture, to look at the entire forest, and not just individual trees, is an important skill in this world.

If you're doing well with the Zeus archetype, the modern world will reward you generously. A business woman with a quality Zeus inside will always be able to see the overall strategic picture without worrying about temporary losses. An eagle does not have mental crises if the mouse that it has outlined from a height suddenly darts under a rock. He will just fly up again and find himself a new lunch or dinner. This ability to think broadly, not succumbing to emotions, is invaluable in any business.

Psyche's magic assistant - the eagle of Zeus - gives her the opportunity to look from a height, how to get close to what she needs, how to avoid dangers, without losing sight of the main goal. The eagle takes the crystal bottle and returns it to Psyche, filled with Stygian waters. The third task is completed. And again Psyche learned something new.

* And also, every time, with every task, she learns to overcome our most terrible brake: "I-not-for-what-can-not-be-able-to-do it !!!" She gains experience of victories. So far, gradually, unconsciously, they are slowly building up into a solid foundation

Fourth task

Psyche will have to do it alone. The very last task. Aphrodite demands that Psyche descend into the underworld, fill an empty box with beauty balm from the eternally young Persephone, queen of the underworld, and bring the balm to Aphrodite.

The first thought that comes to Psyche's mind is: "She wants my death." For the only path she knows of leads to the Kingdom of the Dead - death. Death is so death. And Psyche climbs the highest tower in order to throw herself out of there for sure. Apparently, young Psyche was so beautiful and determined that even the stone tower took pity on her. "Baby," said the tower, "there is another way to complete this task. You can enter the Kingdom of the Dead through the gates of Hades. Take two coins for the gatekeeper. And two cakes for the three-headed dog. You will give one to be admitted to the underworld, and the other - to be released."

But the instructions of the good tower did not end there: "On the way you will be asked for help three times, Psyche. You must harden your heart and pass by."This is what Psyche did. I don't think it was easy for her. Three times the most miserable-looking creatures asked her to stop even for a moment and help. And every time she remembered the advice. She said no and walked forward. Psyche gave one coin to the gatekeeper and entered the Kingdom of the Dead. But that was not all. Right here another poor fellow prayed, "Give me your hand and help me get across the river. I have no coin." But she didn't even turn her head.

* How difficult it is to learn that in order to go forward, very often you have to learn to say "no"

Psyche entered the underworld, fed the three-headed Cerberus with a pie, filled the box with beauty balm, gave the dog the last pie, paid for the transportation across the river with the last coin and returned to the world of the living.

All the advice that Psyche received from the tower was very logical and she managed to follow them. Think for yourself, how could she lend a helping hand to someone when she had a coin and a pie in each hand? She would have lost what little she had and would not have been able to return to the world of the living.

In periods of change and transformation, in periods of transition, the amount of forces we have is limited. And it is necessary to go through hell. The myth of Psyche often and completely unexpectedly resonates in people living with cancer. They say “Cancer taught me to say“I can't do this.”Learning to say“no”is one of the challenges we need to get to our true soul.

If people around you all the time expect that you are there for them, and you suddenly say no, there is often a crisis in the relationship. It is not easy. But this is an important stage for you, it may mean that you no longer need to stay in the hell of your depression, addiction, web of indecision, or whatever. You are ready to get out of there.

Addictions, diseases, depression are some kind of underground kingdom that we have to go through to get out of this state. The transformation period can be very long. How do you know if you are growing there underground, where are the roots or not? It's difficult. It is painful. Sometimes, this is real hell.

But, if you want to get out of the underworld as an integral person who managed to absorb everything that he learned along the way, then, like Psyche, you will have to learn to say "no". Otherwise, those around you, and each of them has their own expectations, will again be pulled apart. Of course, they may call you selfish, but then you will be able to return to the world of the living. After going through all the trials. Like Psyche.

You can imagine how exhausted she is. A pregnant woman who has come such a long way. By the way, about integrity and integration. At the end of this path, Psyche carries the archetypes of many goddesses. She began her journey as a Girl, just like Persephone. She became a Mistress like Aphrodite. She is pregnant, like the goddess of fertility, Demeter. And she seriously intends to reunite with her husband - here you can feel the tenacity and energy of Hera.

Despite everything she has learned along the way, there is no core within her stronger than her intention to bring Eros back.

* A topic very close to me. No matter how much I appreciate and love my work, loved ones, friends, a greedy interest in the world, a passion to play and win, make money and use their opportunities, without Eros, without love, all this seems to me devoid of meaning, color, taste, smell … And I always honestly warn my clients about this. "I am for love!")))

Therefore, more than anything else, having finished with all the tasks, she wants to be the most beautiful, so that Eros will love her and return. Psyche forgets about the last warning of the tower (do not open the box in any case) and she is enveloped in a dream like death. She falls dead like Snow White. And here it is almost impossible not to exclaim: "My God, Psyche, where was your head? After all the trials, the realization of such important things, are you again unconscious ?!"

Well what can I say. Girls, they are such girls, even after all the tests
