See the beginning of the story in my previous publications, and today - the fourth, the last part of the myth.
In search of unearthly beauty, Psyche opens the box, brought with such difficulty from the Kingdom of Hades, and plunges into a dream similar to death. Behaves stupidly, almost like Orpheus, who lost Eurydice at the last moment. But fate turns out to be much more favorable to her than to Orpheus. After all, it is this action that again brings Eros to the stage (aka Cupid, aka Cupid). Once again attracts him to the side of Psyche.
Why did the absurd and touchy Cupid suddenly rush to the aid of a disobedient wife? It does not look like a capricious boy who ran away to his mother at the first difficulties. To his mother, whom he deceived, hiding his romance from her. He decided that he was betrayed only because Psyche wanted to see his face. The boy does not care at all that it is at this moment that Psyche's love becomes conscious. Cupid is too hurt by the fact that Psyche violated the "agreement" and disobeyed him.
This is an important moment in the relationship. Non-adult partners - "boys" (and "girls" too) don't need our awareness for nothing. She terrifies them so much that they are ready to run without looking back. This is called "I'm not ready for a serious relationship." Because in a serious relationship, anything can happen. For example, princes are afraid and doubtful, and princesses sweat and scandal. Boys and girls are not ready to communicate at the level of a naked Soul, only at the level of candy wrappers that are exchanged in kindergarten. "What kind of music do you like?", "How do you like the last Pelevin?", "And this is my new car" …
At the first stage of the relationship between Cupid and Psyche in the magic palace of candy wrappers as much as you want. And you can hardly distinguish them from real Christmas tree decorations. And everything would have gone like this if Psyche had not been pushed by society, the ancient instinct embodied in the advice of the sisters, the craving in women to move forward and the irrepressible desire to touch souls, not just bodies.
Then everything collapsed and everything began at the same time. Very often, a break becomes an alternative to the further development of relationships, and most often it is initiated by a woman. In the simplest version, "either we get married, or we run away." To do this, she sometimes has to look for a lamp for a long time and gather courage to take a knife in her hand, but men are rarely "agents of change." They are often stunned by the crisis - "After all, everything was fine."
Psyche is not alone in change. Something is clearly happening with Eros. Indeed, at the end of our story, Eros returns completely different. He is ready to take the side of Psyche, he saves her from a dream like death and takes her to Olympus. There, in front of all the gods and goddesses, Eros, in bright light and in full consciousness, proclaims that this is the relationship he wants. The Olympians are celebrating a grand wedding. Now this is no longer a secret romance, not an unconscious relationship of Love with the Soul, both of them are called by their proper names.
Men often change after a breakup. They grow up, rethink a lot, understand that not everything "was normal." True, unlike the myth, in life most often "we bring up a man for another woman." That is, a man, most likely, implements his insights, all acquired knowledge and skills in the following relationships. Not with us. And the one who was taught by another woman will come to us))
I can't help but remind you that during all her adventures, Psyche also carries a child. Pregnancy in Jungian symbolism is considered a symbol of the path. A newborn often appears in our dreams when we are ripe for a new stage in our life. Sometimes the dreamer is indeed pregnant, but much more often in the dreams that therapists hear, a special, extraordinary child appears. For example, he looks like a chest, but is already talking or walking. The rapid growth of this miracle child can symbolize movement into a new phase of our destiny.
From the marriage, proclaimed and magnificently celebrated on Olympus, a child was born. Even before this whole story, Cupid announced that if Psyche keeps the secret, then the child will become a god, and if not, he will become mortal. A daughter was born, who was named Pleasure. And this is the first mortal in Greek mythology to become immortal. The soul (Psyche) ascended to Olympus and also became a divine entity. The Olympic pantheon is, in essence, the archetypal world of gods and goddesses in our souls, and as it develops, our soul goes through many transformations in order to turn into a butterfly like a chrysalis. After all, "psyche" is translated as a butterfly.
Often, the path of transformation begins with the loss of love or even the very ability to love in connection with the loss of a relationship or even without any connection with a relationship. We find ourselves in a desert of apathy, depression, illness and wander through it without any meaning, or even just lie to ourselves in a crystal coffin in a dream that looks like death. Each has its own story - who is Psyche, who is Snow White, and who is in the path of several heroines of fairy tales.
We, like Psyche at the beginning and at the end, like Snow White, are saved by Love. Something appears that again connects the soul with Eros. With passion not even for another person, but for life itself. It is very important not to miss this light whiff as your soul butterfly tastes its wings. The moment when you, perhaps unconsciously, feel how much you can achieve with your usual powers and abilities of a mortal.

The Cycle And Dynamics Of Relationships. The Beginning Is The Climax And The End ?
Everything in the world has its beginning, its development, culmination and-and-and end (or rebirth) … First of all, these phases are present in life itself: we are born, develop, evolve, reach maturity and grow old, completing our stories … These the same phases are naturally present in social relations, opening, developing and completing human contacts.

The day before yesterday, at the supervisory group, my colleagues and I examined a client case (which, for obvious reasons, I cannot tell). I will devote the material to another - an analogy that came to my mind when analyzing the example given in the group.

What Is Psyche? What Does The Human Psyche Consist Of?
A funny and rather inexplicable paradox - all psychologists widely use the terrible word "psyche" on YouTube and various social networks, but … almost no one bothered to explain what it means! Let's start with a simple one - with the meaning of this word.
