I would like to say that I was thinking, but I was not thinking. It used to happen that I spent a long time with a choice, I could not make a decision. Recently, I have been coping with such a task rather quickly.

The fact is that I represent next to me … God. (As I understand it).

I reread the last two paragraphs. Oh my God! The text is like a sectarian in booklets. No, dear reader, I am not one of them. You can safely read on))

For me, this is strange. I do not believe in God in the literal sense of these words. I don’t go to church, I don’t belong to any denomination. And even more so I do not believe in a bearded man in light clothes and on a cloud.

But when it is necessary to make a choice, and I rush here and there, I imagine just an uncle and certainly a bearded one. In impeccably light clothes, of course, but how could it be otherwise)

And the main thing is not how it looks. The main thing is that he knows EVERYTHING about me. Everything in general. You can't lie to him. You can't tell him half the truth. And yet - He does not force to do anything, does not drag anywhere and does not advise. He does not speak correctly, does not shame and does not reproach. He just stands there looking and knows the truth. Well, He also, even if you lie, will not say anything, will not send any punishment, will not kill with lightning. Nothing threatens me anyway. He will just stand there and watch and know the truth.

Is that all? And that's all. That's enough for me. Because next to him, for some reason, I also know the truth about myself.

Try to imagine how your life would flow if you felt that God was right next to you? What would you do in front of him? Don't you think it would be easier to make decisions? Don't you think these solutions would be better?

It doesn't matter if you believe in God or not. I don’t believe it. Psychologically speaking, this is my way of learning to connect with myself. Or in other words, with the Self, with God-in-me. With that part of me that knows everything about me. With supreme power in my psyche. From the point where all the main goals of my life begin and end.

This reminds me of an episode from the movie "What Men Talk About" - about the Germans. Here, look, have fun))

For Lyosha from the movie, "The Germans" is also a way to connect with his real self. And then the choice becomes clear. It may not be easy or pleasant, but definitely clear.

It turns out that Lyosha consults with Death. And what? An excellent advisor. (In the best Castaneda traditions). Well, judge for yourself, what's the point in lying to yourself if you die in a minute? Next to Death, everything superficial disappears, all social games become uninteresting, because you still won't have time to get a prize - and the choice becomes extremely clear. Simple.

And Julia Kim calls it Conscience. "Conscience is a moral category that allows you to accurately distinguish between good and bad":

I think people called it differently at different times. When the ancients went to the sacred mountain, where they “consulted with the ancestors,” perhaps they did the same?

One way or another, it turns out that in every person somewhere inside lives a clear knowledge of where to go. The only question is how to get to it? How do you feel this… movement of your soul? As it turns out, there are options. Someone needs to consult with the Conscience, someone with Death, but personally for me - with God.

Who do you consult with?
